As expected. Mohd Rian Ardianto/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari [9/16] will now take on CHN's He Jiting/Du Yue [5/8] for at least a Bronze medal.

Fitriani leads 11-7 in the mid game interval of the decider, but to be catching up by He Bing Jiao now trailing 11-13. :(

    Raffi/Ulfa surrender to Park/Park

While Fitriani lose the decider 21-14. I'm not sure why, is it perhaps stamina issue?

Heavy casualties for INA in R16 - 8 so far (5 to CHN representatives: 1 in each discipline), 1 to SIN, 1 to JPN, and 1 to KOR. 2 more matches to go. Rosyita/Apriani are leading 1-0 so far and Rian/Clinton are on the court now.

Sigh...one weakness of INA's pair is the inability to hold the lead against CHN pairs. Rian/Clinton were leading 11-7 at the interval (ditto for Reinard/Althof) but ended up losing the first-set (second-set for Reinard/Althof) 17-21.

Arguably, this year's INA BD pairs are the weakest in several years, compared to the previous few years.
