Yes, I know... Oh, recently I learned that Vita Marissa is actually a close cousin of Harianto Arbi, Eddy Hartono, and Hastomo Arbi. ;) What a strong badminton family...

    Alright!!! Cool!

Oh, by the way, apparently, Ayu Wanda's opponent from Hong Kong, Chan Tsz Ka, was the 2008 Tangkas Alfamart Under-19 champion.

Another breeze for Yayu/Delis. Yayu played 2 matches in 1 hr  They will face the top-seed Selena Piek/Iris Tabeling for a place in the last 8. Similarly, Berry/Yayu will face the second-seed Paul Van Rietvelde/Gillian Sloan [2]. I think upsets are very likely tomorrow.
If Ullin/Jenna indeed win today, they should also beat Nico Codewe/Franziska Burket.

Ditto for Jenna/Olivia as they beat the 5/8th seeded pair in straight-sets 21-17, 21-16. They will meet Thamar Peters/Josephine Wentholt tomorrow.

I wonder why the results were not reported... Anyway, good news for team INA... :D No casualties until this minute...

But Ayu is trailing 11-21, 9-13 at the moment... It is tough to win against this more experienced Hong Kong player... Chan already won once in INA's homeland, at the Tangkas Alfamart International Junior tournament last year...

Ayu Wanda is the 1st INA casualty in this tournament. Loosing to Chan Tsz Ka 11-21, 12-21...

These HKG players are pretty experienced. I have seen their names in some senior events too (eg: Tse Ying Suet/Chan Tsz Ka -- QF Finish at the HKG SS )

My friend in the Holland said that Ayu played in a tentative manner. Lost her gameplan around 1/3 of every game and seemed confused on what to do against this good HK player... :p Her usually 'devilish' shots ceased to become fearsome after her confusion... :p

The doubles pair should be good enough for another round of win tomorrow; for all to book a place in the last 8. Then, the hard matches will begin. I am hoping for Ullin/Jenna to meet Berry/Yayu (if they can beat the MAS pair), and then Yayu/Dellis to face Jenna/Olivia in the Final. We shall see....

I think all INA fans are all hoping that will happen... :p Ullin-Jenna already defeated Chan Tsz Ka-Wong Wing Ki who are the celebrated duo from HK... :p I don't see any reason they can win it all... As long as they stay focused and keep their eye on the game...
