...and Riyanto Subagja is expected to face Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin in the QF (if he can clear the next 3 rounds). Ayu Wanda Tika Wulandari is also scheduled to meet the highly-seeded HKG girl Chan Tsz Ka tomorrow. After looking at the draws of the German Junior (next week), the Djarum contingent is likely to meet heads-on with the Korean juniors pretty early.
and why not ?? The BD pair Ullin/Berry should be a strong contender for the title in Dutch Junior, with the MAS pairs (which they will probably meet in the SF and F) being their obstacles. The XD pair Ullin/Jenna is also not INA junior champs for nothing If they can beat Wong Wing Ki/Chan Tsz Ka tomorrow, they should progress to at least SF. As for Riyanto, I expect him to reach QF.
In the WJC 2008 Team Event, Ullin/Jenna won ALL 3 matches, including beating Mak Hee Chun/Vivian Ho Kah Mun (SF finish at the Individual Event). Too bad, they were not played in the Individual Event, otherwise, they could get some good results
No problem for Yayu Rahayu/Delis Yuliana as they progress to R32. I think they will progress to at least R16 where they will meet the top-seed Selena Piek/Iris Tabeling. Clearing that hurdle, they should meet N. Sikki Reddy/Prajakta Sawant [5/8] for a place in the last 4. Jenna Gozali/Rufika Olivia should progress to at least QF where again a Malaysian pair Ng Hui Ern/Ong Boon Hui should await them. If they can beat the MAS, I think they will go to the Final to entertain either Pook Lok Yan/Tze Ying Suet [3/4], another MAS pair Sonia Cheah Su Ya/Tee Jing Yi, or their own teammate

XD R32 Richard Domke/Alina Hammes vs Berry Angriawan/Yayu Rahayu WD R32 Debbie Janssens/Jelske Snoeck vs Yayu Rahayu/Delis Yuliana WD R32 Jenna Gozali/Rufika Olivia vs Cendrine Hantz/Sarka Kriskova [5/8]
Well... I just said that INA is not a weak badminton country... He he he... Hey, although INA is not as dominant today as in the 1970s-80s-90s where we won a total of 13 Thomas Cups, 3 Uber Cups, and 1 Sudirman Cup... INA still could manage to win at least one gold in every single Olympic since 1992... Ullin is a disciple of Sigit Budiarto, Jenna a student of Deni Kantono... Both teachers were former #1 MD players on Earth . As for Ayu, Rischa, Riyanto, and Gifar, they are going to be the last students of Fang Kaixiang before he retires for good... Even though they are young [age ranging from 15-18], they are not soft & fluffy toys to be brushed aside in this Dutch Junior event... Somehow the organizers have no clue who they are, thus they didn't seed Ullin-Jenna and the others... Oh, by the way, Delis-Yayu are through to the next round...
I saw Wing Ki play in Hong Kong... Still a bit clumsy... Ullin is a more natural doubles player than Wing Ki. Jenna is also a talented doubles player. Killer hand skills [unfortunately she got relatively short legs]... I predict a 51% chance of Ullin-Jenna defeating the seeded HK pair...
Oh, I know... It seems the only people who forgot that INA Juniors are never too weak are the Dutch Junior organizers... I'm still baffled with the fact that they don't seed the #1 MD [Ullin-Berry] and #1 XD [Ullin-Jenna] of Indonesia... Not even seed 9-16... So, somehow, they think the Polish, Bulgarian, Scottish Juniors are more worthy seeds than the top ranked INA Juniors... Ok, it is their right. I think this INA Junior team in Holland need to remind the Dutch Junior organizers that we are still no pushovers, dude... The German Junior organizers, on the other hand, did not underestimate the same INA players/pairs...
Ayu has no problem beating her second opponent and will now face a tough test against Chan Tsz Ka [3/4] tomorrow.
