    MY experience

WOW!! I didnt expect so many players would talk to me at the Jr world tournament!! I spoke to most of different players such as the taipei , malaysian , chinese, korean etc teams. The funniest thing that happend to me was when i was having a break my linesman shift. I was gonna walk down the bleachers when I saw yoo yung sung walk by  . I sorta made this sound with my throat cuz i was TOO SURPRISED HE WAS THERE !!! SO i made this gurgling sound and pointed at him lol HAHAHA.... he then looked up at me and stared for a second and continued walking... hahaha but anyways .. i ended up printing a pic of yoo yung sung and lee dong soo on my computer and getting them to sign it. (somthing else funny occured at the time but i'll talk abt it next time :D ) Also, i got the malaysian single's player's email and Chen jin's pic plus autograph.. I noe this may sound common but THIS STUFF IS CRAZYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    badminton owns...

    payce!

The Chinese girl really dominated the net. Not only she anticipated so well the shots to the net, she also intercepted soft and hard shots efficiently. Agree totally with you that the girl played beyond what her age (apparently) suggest. Probably a name to watch in the future.

Wood_22_chuck, from the angle your pictures, me might have been sitting close on watching the game. Too bad I did not see you.

Badrad was sitting a few meters away to my right. Can't blame you with all the excitement around. The China team, before the matches start, was sitting in front of me with all the movement around them. Will be back to watch more games.

Dave, I wish I was there watching the future stars in action. Did any of you from Vancouver appear in any of the pics posted in this forum? Trying to figure out how some of you guys look. Of course I can't forget badrad's face. :)

There's lots of pictures of Vancouver BFers in Lazybuddy's visit to vancouver thread there, Loh :)

I very nearly had a chance to have a group photo with the Singaporean Junior Team, but was rushing to watch TPE/INA Mens Single match!

From my inside scoop with the referee and umpires, both teams put in their order of play and the referee tries to match them up. Sometimes one player might be playing 2 events and they have to give them a game break in between, if they are in both singles and doubles, singles is played first.

Getting a lot of reaction from everyone about my ying/yang hair style!!! :D

I might stay over Saturday night and play at VRC again with the BF'ers if they would like...can we go to Richmond Sushi after the finals?!?!?!? I will stay and play late if I can.

Did anyone play two events though? I and a lot of others I've talked to feel the order was totally in China's favour since the two doubles matches went last, which are Korea's best events. So they never even got a chance to play.

Well you certainly stand out! I wonder if seagulls flying overhead perceive you differently than they do "normal" people :p.

Did you say SUSHI?! Man you really know the magic words to get me going!!! :p :D Fantastic idea man... about what time will the finals finish though? Richmond Sushi doesn't start their late night special until about 9:30PM I think.
