Not sure whether you have tried the NR Z-Speed and NR800, maybe you can suggest which one is better with your style of play.

I am right in saying that this racket is going to be an even-balanced to head light racket???

if you like whipping a racket for big swing power shots, zsp is the racket for you. if you are a control freak at the front court dominating with precision shots, the 800 is for you. i have both and it requires a slightly different way of handling the racket in terms of hitting. feel free to ask more questions.

Speaking of RRP, the Japanese one is 25,000 JPY (+ 8% tax). They're usually sold with a 20-30% "discount" online in Japan though, one site has it for 18,750 + tax - a bit under 250 SGD or 640 MYR or 215 AUD - which would be the normal price in Japan I reckon. That's without strings, I believe, for which you will have to add about 1,000 JPY.

curious how this racquet compared to Arc FB in term of speed, lightness, etc.... Hope this racket can be an improved version of NS9900...

Yes and no. Yes, it will act similar to NR Z Speed. But it is not as Z Speed's sweet spot is much higher. The new NR900 sweet spot is much more forgiving. It is like NR9900 that is easier to generate power. Better for all around player.

Also, The new NR900 paint is based on the EZone Ai. I actually like it. PS, I just got mine last night. I will test it out this weekend if my wife allows.

The ZSP's sweet spot was a real "upside-down top hat" - half an inch either way and you can kiss goodbye to most of the shot:).

Agree with you. For Z Speed, you need to hit above the bending point or where the 3 white grommets. For NR900, you will still be OK if you hit in the middle or the racquet.

    Any view/thoughts/review on NR900? :)
The response seems to be lower compared to ZF-II launch

It's out for sales in our region yesterday. It wasn't running like hot cakes though.

Resembles the amount of posts in the two different threads.

Also for me the first new YONEX racket - since following these things - that I'm not really interested in buying.

Is out in Malaysia since Friday
But like earlier NR releases it aint getting much attention (except for NZSP)
Probably head heavy racket is much preferred here

:) Indeed true, except maybe for the Z-Speed (flashy orange colour). I think in some part maybe also to do with the warehouse sales, I for one would 1000% rather have 4 NS9000X than one NR800/900 :D
