Rosyita Eka Putri Sari/Apriani Rahayu [9/16] make sure INA still has 1 rep in GD as they beat the higher-seeded KOR pair in straight-sets. They should have a good chance against their opponent in the QF (likely to be the 2nd seed from THA) to earn themselves at least a Bronze medal!
Phew...Mohd Rian Ardianto/Clinton Hendrik Kudamasa [9/16] eventually beat the higher-seeded CHN pair He Jiting/Zhao Jian [5/8] in 3 tight-sets: 17-21, 21-14, 22-20. They await the winner between Yonny Chung/Yeung Shing Choi [3/4] and Xu Linhan/Yao Zhidi. The HKG pair is currently leading 11-6 at the interval of the rubber-set.
So, INA has 5 representatives in QF, similar to my prediction. Except the GD pair Rosyita/Apriani progress instead of the XD pair Raffi/Zakia.
this is a traditional javanese name. usually, a javanese name doesnt have any Family name, only a single word name. meanwhile, when you make a passport or asking visa , you need AT LEAST First name AND Family name. Usually they write the Family name Same as the First name. hope it helps...
Actually, they played four matches today. Chen Qingchen's matches were all on Court 1. She must feel like being at home.
Indeed, each of them actually played four matches in one day, in XD with each other, then MD and WD with their respective partners, AND they WON ALL their matches in straight sets ! I'll always remember Huang Kaixiang as the doubles player talent-spotted and singled out by Li Yongbo himself as the player to watch.
BS QF Jonatan Christie [1] vs Lin Guipu [5/8] - It's time for Jojo to prove himself tomorrow if he really wants to win the WJC title this week. It starts with the CHN player, Lin Guipu, tomorrow afternoon. All the best to Jojo. Anothony Ginting [9/16] vs Kanta Tsuneyama - ditto for Anthony Ginting, who has obtained consistent results in both AJC and WJC (reaching QF in both). Can he learn from his defeat to the Japanese player? It will not be an easy match and I do hope Anthony can also secure a place in the last 4. BD QF Mohd Rian Ardianto/Clinton Hendrik Kudamasa [9/16] vs Yonny Chung/Yeung Shing Choi [3/4] - the 2 pairs met in the QF of the Mixed-Team championships last week. Rian/Clinton should be able to repeat their results. GD QF Rosyita Eka Putri Sari/Apriani Rahayu [9/16] vs Pacharapun Chochuwong/Chanisa Teachavorasinskun [2] - surprised to see the Thai pair being seeed 2nd, despite not being played last week in the SF of the Mixed Team Championships. There's a good chance Rosyita/Apriani can progress to the SF. XD QF He Jiting/Du Yue [5/8] vs Mohd Rian Ardianto/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari - a stern test for INA's sole remaining XD pair. I am predicting yet another upset. It's bold to predict all 5 INA representatives winning their respective matches tomorrow. I will be happy enough if 2-3 out of 5 can progress to SF.
It's so high competition of BD match again ,BD represent 8 nation in QF round. Look seem JPN love GS,they have 3 girls in QF and secure one ticket enter to semi-final. THA juniors enter to QF in WJC this year better than last year in their home but this year no THA BS in QF ,THA is so weak BS again.:crying:
Ah! And all this time I was thinking they were just too darn lazy! (Maybe this is where INA players developed "lazy" style? ) I guess this also explains Hendrawan... Now, compare this to traditional Sri Lankan names (the Sinhalese ones) where it is not unusual to have at least 4 words to properly name the person. And some of those words are ginormous!
Some more pics.... Chen QingChen, China: Alexander Bond, Denmark: Fitriani, Indonesia: Nidaira Natsuki, Japan: WHAAaaat??? Why am I here??? You think I'm trying to sneak in some practice before the AG? I've sparring partners of a slightly higher calibre, y'know!
Japan's Akane Yamaguchi (the No.1 seed) vs Singapore's Liang Xiaoyu will be an interesting match. Totally contrasting styles there.
Mohd Rian Ardianto/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari [9/16] beat the Chinese pair He Jiting/Du Yue [5/8] and are guaranteed at least a Bronze medal. They are expected to face the Thai pair in a rematch of the Mixed Team Championships SF. A good chance to progress to the Final!

Anthony Ginting [9/16] also progresses to the SF and is guaranteed a Bronze Medal, after a surprisingly easy 21-13, 21-5 victory over Kanta Tsuneyama. He will probably face Shi Yuqi [2] for a place in the Final.
