The headline of the star was negative, but I think it is actually a good thing for this pair to be split :D

What i heard is KKK put on weight was because he goes to pub and drink beer or party quite often over weekends. so its more like a beer belly. i have friends who bumps into him on some clubs in KL a few times.
I am not sure what's the ruling for the players to be party at night, but to me as a player, it has to be self discipline and be responsible towards the team. Not just by gaining own benefits and that's it. I don't think party late nights is allow in China or Korea for a player.
KKK performance definitely drop as compared to his form 2-3 years ago. I guess Malaysian players nowadays just get contented easily with 1 big title in hand, same goes to the Fuzzy pair, they won 2 back-to-back titles few years ago and they've been big headed since then.
I hope LCW doesn't repeat this same problem. They are too many luxurious benefits and unnecessary fame that had created upon them once they win a tournament. I doubt Lin Dan would have such "OVER-Big" celebrations (VIPs and red carpet at the airport) when he won the ALL-ENGLANDS and other major tournaments. Celebrations is inevitable, but not over-done it. I just think Malaysian players have always been bombarded by over-done celebrations and luxurious benefits after winning a certain tournament. :)

i think they should just drop both fairuz and zakry, what's the point of making all those threats if you're not going to carry them out when the pairs fail to perform? i read this as a sign of weakness from BAM.

    ^^That's the same echo..^^

..as in the "BAM warns Mohd Hafiz Hashim & Kuan Beng Hong " thread..A lot of so called "threats" but no real actions..I guess chris-ccc would say something like, "it's not BAM's fault but the younger players/pairs are not ready to replace them because they can't beat their seniors or still struggle in internatioal competitions etc."..;)

Errr, I dont think they will just drop Fuzzy pair, due to quota reasons, not due to younger pairs cannot beat Fuzzy. The back up have done so in local tourneys like GP Finals & International tourneys, if they meet.

The coaches do not have the final say, BAM Committee does.

I mean drop as in ask them retire early. Rexy already said, only one of Fuzzy go TC, that means most probably Fairuz lor.

England not in TC finals ya, Nathan/Clark didnt play during qualifiers, the 'clash in sponsor' issue I think, like Poland

By doing this, MAS is offering 1 free point to opponent.

If they keep Fuzzy, in their current shape I think it is also 1 point to the opponent.

Scratch pairing is a good step to recovery in my opinion. Malaysia has been afraid of change and fielding the same pair again and again after they won a title because they want success. :)

Choose based on the body size? What kind of logic is that?:p

It is better if Both of them drop from the TC squad. They dont deserves the place. Better give to younger pair a chance for better exposure and experience.
