My diet plan? You know that I live by the ocean. So, of course, I have a 'seefood' diet. ("See the McDonald's down by the shore? Go get me some food!" <--click)
these days i only play 1 long session (5hrs from 6 to 11 pm) per week. i know i know............im like an ommelete around 10:30pm basically 1 lost about 1.5 to 2 kgs every session i did. So for those who wants to loose some weight, forget all about those expensive program they are useless compare to badminton. In fact i have never weight more than 74kg (my height is 178 and currently weigh about 70kgs) all my life and i also never watch what i eat, i eat anything i want whenever i want and how much i want
True, but most of the weight you lose is from dehydration. In the end, if you drink enough water during or after your session, you might only lose about 0,2 kg or something. You can judge that by the color of your urine after your training session: the more yellow it is, the more dehydrated you are. Also according to most sports nutritionists, since most of the weight you lose during the exercise is water (its true that you burn calories but those changes will most likely appear after the exercise), this means you should drink about 1,5 L more during those 5 hours.
I have a diet plan.. but to lose weight in general, if you measure it actually I'm an obesity type of person I play badminton 2-3 times per week 1 1/2 hour per session I ate two piece of chicken breast small amount of rice large amount of vegetables and one yellow and two white from 2 eggs even without playing badminton, eating this in one month resulted in me losing 5 Kgs
I study Sports Nutrition at university, so of course I have a diet plan. Yesterday - 2 chicken kievs with rice (1200kcal), Ice Cream + Chocolate + Chocolate Brownies + Chocolate sauce (Alotkcal), 4 Pints of Beer (Alotkcal), Takeaway chicken meal (Alotkcal) Hmm... It appears I might've lied when I said I have a diet plan. Unless you want to become an elite athlete or you are missing a key nutrient in your diet or need to lose weight, you don't need to follow a strict diet. Just look at some foods and ask yourself if you could possibly find a healthier option
I ussually drink 1 ltr of water plus 1 bottle of Gatorade or 100Plus per session, but still lose almost 2kg per session. Yes i sweat a lot and need to change shirt 2 times during summer and 1 time during winter. Correct You mean i should drink more than 1.5 ltr??
Definitely NO fast food for me before badminton I'll feel like **** + feel very sluggish and no I won't drink redbull to compensate
Yes I think so. 1L of water = 1kg, so in order to keep a relatively similar weight throughout your workout, you should drink you 1ltr of water + 1 bottle of Gatorade + another 1,5 L of water. It may seem like alot but it should help you with your performances and recovery. Also, its OK to drink even when you are not thirsty. I really don't sweat much and don't tend to drink but I forced myself to drink AT LEAST 1,5L during my 3h sessions and I really felt the difference. Hope it helps Mathieu
