This is interesting... Tan Boon Heong is now using the Z-Speed instead of the VT-80 Etune in the Purple League. Maybe it didn't suit him?

it's in JP catalogue. I'm guessing a new line will be introduced on this year JAPAN Open replacing Arcsaber line.

The Arcsaber line is still in the catalogue and they're even introducing two new rackets to it (ARC2i and ARC9LG), so why would it be replaced?

In case it hasn't been mentioned in English yet: The VT80ETN will be released in the middle of March, come in 4U5 and 3U4,5 and is warranted for tensions of 19-26 for 4U and 20-27 for 3U. In their new catalogue it's, unsurprisingly, right between VT70ETN and VTZF2 in head-heaviness and flex.

Normal VT80 bows out and VT80ETN's AC-ET2 e tune parts increase to 6. (supposedly 4 bottom, 2 top)

I have the new 2015 YY JP catalog, and there is no reference of Arc 9 LG thereunder. Only Arc2i.

Btw, I think the new color scheme of this VT80 ET is worth to be collected

    :D

My mistake, it was the MP9LG, not ARC9LG.

So.... will there be any "extras" after that? Like the purple ones for ETune 70?

From the looks of things it looks like red for included grommets, brown-ish AC-ET2 for extras. Hmm.

Doesn't seem like there's a difference between the VT70Etune and VT80Etune extra grommets except for the color and shape -.-

well normally people get 30% off retail price for new rackets if buying here in Japan so no one really is paying full retail price.(^_^)

Yonex is going to utilize the Nanometric technology and apply this technology to the frame. I'm kinda scared of racket clashes if this is the case. :\

I'd rather stick with the regular VT-80...

There's like both Nanopreme and Nanometric on this... And the numbers conflict each other. Lol.
