What a tight win by winning DoubleDeuces. I guess thats the reason why OngTeo always lost these deuces.. Many times , against LiLiu,KamSon.. They are not calm enough during critical finish.
Minions can lyd/kgj ... I am thinking it’ll take about 20 min for minions to win lol although if I recall correctly they did win one set previously Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

3rd day and the host country only has 1 rep left.....still baffles me how they managed to get it Super750...i know it's bout prize money..but still...weird
The organizers, maybe? I think the management in the tournament is pretty important too. I think some people here did mention that the French Open tournament's organizers really did a great job at handling the events. You can look up to the crowd's enthusiasm.
ROUND OF 16 (02.00pm) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...DB372B-3688-490E-A8A5-AED6CFBA192C&d=20191024 *MATCH HIGHLIGHTS* - Kento Momota (JPN) v Hans Kristian Vittinghus (DEN) - Chen Long (CHN) v Lin Dan (CHN) - Kenta Nishimoto (JPN) v Anders Antonsen (DEN) - Kanta Tsuneyama (JPN) v Viktor Axelsen (DEN) - Tai Tzu Ying (TPE) v Kim Ga Eun (KOR) - Nozomi Okuhara (JPN) v Carolina Marin (ESP) - Pornpawee Chochuwong (THA) v Akane Yamaguchi (JPN) - Gideon/Sukamuljo (INA) v Kim GJ/Lee YD (KOR) - Kamura/Sonoda (JPN) v Lee Y/Wang CL (TPE) - Rankireddy/Shetty (IND) v Ahsan/Setiawan (INA) - Matsumoto/Nagahara (JPN) v Lefel/Tran (FRA) - Stoeva/Stoeva (BUL) v Matsutomo/Takahashi (JPN) - Watanabe/Higashino (JPN) v Tabeling/Piek (NED) - Lu K/Chen L (CHN) v Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai (THA) Two-time World Champion Kento Momota experienced gruelling match to tame the explosive Wang Tzu Wei who playing smartly to balance his high calibre opponent, dropping opening game Momota came back with better strategy to counter the aggressive opposition in next second game, 15-21 / 21-15 / 21-16. Second seed Chou Tien Chen also needs three games to pass first round hurdle, the error-proned Kidambi Srikanth, it seems lack of self belief and doubtness still hampering the Indian to regain his best, 15-21 / 21-7 / 21-14. Two Danish stars, Viktor Axelsen-Anders Antonsen will take on resilient Japanese rivals today, Kanta Tsuneyama and Kenta Nishimoto respectively. The Olympic Champions of last three editions will facing off each other to hunt quarterfinal berth, Lin Dan versus Chen Long, both of them had surpassed their golden era but still fighting to eye another Olympic spot. The most anticipated clash in women's singles last sixteen, Okuhara-Marin duel once again. The low-ranked Carolina Marin often drawn to meet top guns in early round, this time is not excluded. Tai Tzu Ying, Pusarla Sindhu, Ratchanok Intanon are predicted to sail through last eight. Another intriguing tie to notice, former world number one Akane Yamaguchi has stern test to advance, Thailand darkhorse Pornpawee Chochuwong. China best hopeful in this category, He Bingjiao suffering waist injury and asked medical assistance when she met Gregoria Mariska yesterday, 18-17 second game the lefthander fell down to floor suddenly and looks hold pain after completed the match, 21-12 / 21-18. Both Minions and Daddies were struggling and deep trouble to beat their unseeded opponents, Gideon/Sukamuljo subdue Chinese juniors Di ZJ/Wang C while Ahsan/Setiawan edge out Malaysians Ong YS/Teo EY. The world's top-two pairs have tricky tests to maintain their physical endurance and consistency next, Kim GJ/Lee YD also Indian prospects Rankireddy/Shetty are no pushover. JPN-KOR affrair in women's doubles saw recent DEN Open champions Baek HN/Jung KE and Chang YN/Kim HR tumbled, lost to Japanese high profile pairs. There're still two KOR representatives left in fray, Lee SH/Shin SC also Kim SY/Kong HY. The only home survivors Lefel/Tran have arduous task to progress, defending champions Matsumoto/Nagahara. The reviving Indonesia duo Jordan/Oktavianti extending good run to eliminate tough opening obstacles Tang CM/Tse YS, 21-17 / 21-15. Barring any big upset they should meet arch rival Thailand aces Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai in last eight. The slow down top-seed Zheng SW/Huang YQ will take on the unheralded Hong Kong combination Chang TC/Ng WY. LIVE TV COVERAGE
BoeCon vs LiaoSu n YutEndo vs InoKa on tv court really seems out of place with Daddies vs RankShetty on court 4.... and there is that SohChia vs AstrupRasmussen too....
Yupz, India & Indonesia are big markets, and the match is promising between the old guards vs young lads, should have been prioritized for coverage.
yep and if they wanna use european tournaments so more europeans on tv court excuse....then wth happen to SelenaPiek and BenLane matches... all 4 of their matches are not on TV... 4 matches man so French fry organiser is good at gathering money but crazy in scheduling....
But good old LD vs CL is on court 2. Indicates that they sort of know what viewers might want in some ways...
As far as I can see, court 1 is the TV court with Minions vs LYD/KGJ, which to me is also a much more interesting MD match than the three you mention. It also features PVS to cater to the Indian audience. CL vs LD could go for a TV match due to their status, but you would never see an all JPN MD in R2 on the TV court.
I understand. But that wasn't really reflected in your posts. You mentioned the TV court 3 times and streaming courts 0 times. Hence my reply. Regarding European matches, you do have Adcocks, Marin and the only French pair left on the TV Court. And you have the Stoevas and some Danes on court 2. So considering the line up on the TV Court as well as the line up on court 2, I don't see how anyone can complain outside personal preferences. They naturally expect to be able to show Daddies later on, and Indians have both SN and PVS. You can't make everyone happy all the time
