    He lost XD but won MD. So shouldn't be any scheduling problem for him anymore except for Lee who plays both XD and MD. Or other pairs.

    It's a great news that the Asian Games website has been improved with livescore and statistic.
    Kudos to them, but that is to be expected for such a prestigious tournament.
    However, the coverage is still poor and disappointing.

    The individual event kicks off today, most of high-ranked players cruise comfortably to next round. An eye catching WS tie saw two-time world championships silver medalist Pusarla V. Sindhu battled hard to clear opening hurdle, Vietnamese Vu Thi Trang in thrilling deciding game, both players must adapt the drift well in windy stadium. In mixed doubles category, some notable first round tie, All England champion Watanabe/Higashino were troubled by Korean latest combination Choi SG/Shin SC in rubber games. Thai pair Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai also experienced tough opening game against Indian duo Rankireddy/Ponnappa.

    Tommorow's competition will pay attention to men's singles top-seed Shi Yuqi opposes home idol Jonatan Christie, this will be tight clash as head to head stats is equal for both young men, 3-3 and last four meetings were completed in three games. Christie has advantage to play at homesoil while Shi YQ mental department will be tested tomorrow. The Chinese didn't perform well in team event, displaying nervousness and lack of self belief, potential upset in terms of world ranking. Another intriguing matches will feat the Olympic Champion Ahmad/Natsir will start his AG gold medal quest to meet tricky opponent, Korean Choi SG/Chae YJ. MAS-HKG affairs will pit Chan PS/Goh LY versus Lee CH/Chau HW and Goh SH/Shevon Lai against fourth seed Tang CM/Tse YS.
