    just to clarify for those who don't know...

    Xia's nickname in the team is "big mouth", for obvious reasons. thus ShaSha call him "mouth brother", a more respectful version of "big mouth"...

    please, in the future, don't turn any thread that mentions Xia or Lin into a idolizing thread. thanks...

    yah yah... his team mates call him 'da zhui' (big mouth).... hehehe even when they cheer also cheer as "da zhui jia you...." :p

    hahhahaha....beside xuanze...i also like to express my admiration for other china players.....like lindan,caiyun,fuhaifeng,zengbo.....etc.....but of coz u noe who i love more hahhaa.......

    Hi.....I was lookin through some threads in this site...and it mentioned somethin of Xia Xuan Ze having retired...and i am wondering if anyone can confirm that?....coz i dunno if it is just me ....but i dun see him quite as often now in tournaments...and btw.....why is he not going to the olympics?...im am sorri for my lack of knowlege as i am quite new to all this......and thanks in advance:)

    Xia has not retired.

    he has been playing most of the tournaments throughout the year this year including the Malaysian Open in July, you need to look harder! ;)

    icicic....thanks for the info!!!...but i feel very bad for xia that he cannot go to the olympics....as he may not get in the 2008 one either....since he is already in his mid twenties i believe?....and the life as a chinese badminton player is not that long.....:(
