where to play badminton in Bangkok

Hi Mr. Anek,

I bought my Hexagon 2300 at that shop, but it is more like Kumpoo official dealer, instead of maibadlukbad. They do not sell any other rackets but Kumpoo only. Well, i tried my Hexagon2300 last night at TPI Cement Factory nearby Muak Lek. All i can say is the racket is mush lighter than my previous DART Concave Speed 3000. I was kinda expecting it would've been heavier-head as i could generate more power while smashing. But to my surprise, the hitting sound is great (BG66-25lbs), and the control is excellent. Still can't get used to drop-shot yet tough.

I saw ur current pictures celebration and those various games made form badminton stuff. I can only say, SATURN is truly innovative! I've never even thought of creating new games using badminton stuff. I wonder, how would you play single-paired-player whom happen to use right-handed??.. or should they be paired on basis of right-left-handed players?

One more doubt, i see the prize has Ling Ni brand on it. All i know it is a chinese brand, sponsored all Chinese team players. Originally i was gonna buy that brand in Thailand but i gave up cuz lack of information. Do you have any idea where to buy those Ling Ni brand?

The Kumpoo shop used to be mybadlookbad.com until the boss decide to focus on Kumpoo only.

Anyway, seems like you like the Kumpoo ? It is quite a good racquet, different from the others in terms of feel.

Actually, my favorite racket is Yonex Ti-10 ( Yellow - White model ). I am now stocking them for my play. ;)

Wow ! I counted 17 x Ti10 ! No wonder Singapore doesn't have any more Yellow-white model anymore, now I know who to blame :p !

anek999, those are sure stock of a life-time. does that make Ti10 easily broken, thus you purchased a dozen of them? how much each Ti10 costs in Thailand?

Does anyone know how much an Arcsaber 10 costs in Thailand?

Should be between 4000 - 4200 baht. Prices fluctuates due to the currency.

Yonex high end racquets are very good buy in Bangkok, probably the best price in the world !

Personally, I have bought NS9900, AT900T, Ti10 and AT600 from Bangkok and other than the TH code, I don't see any difference with SP coded racquets.

Actually, I keep buying Ti-10 because they are all great rackets to me.
I decided to buy only Singapore Version (SP) or Indonesia (IP). In Thailand, Ti-10 TH (Yellow-White) now sold out. Most shops carry Ti-10 TH ( Purple ) only. But I feel Ti-10 Purple has lighter weight compared to Ti-10 Yellow-White.
Actually, I never buy Ti-10 TH at all. I bought them from Singapore and Hong Kong.
Ti-10 not easily broken. Just because I play quite often and there are more chances to crack it.

Well, I am a collector after all !

I buy racquets from HK, Bangkok, Singapore and Malaysia ! I ordered from US and Vietnam before and will buy from Japan end of this month when I go there !

From my experience, I can more or less tell which countries has the best price for a certain brand.

Anek, Can I borrow one of your Ti10s when I come to Thailand? So I won't have to carry my racquet. :)

You don't have to carry any racquets to Bangkok.

Just pop down to Sports Marketing and grab a high end Yonex and you can use it immediately ! Kill two birds with one stone !

The downside to this is that you end up with alot of racquets like I do :crying:

But you are looking to get the Arc10 anyway.

Well... end of this month, if you visit Tokyo, you can join Yonex Open Japan 2009 too ! I was there 3 years in a row , but this year I got to miss it. :(
But try not to miss it next year. Racket prices in Japan is more expensive than Bangkok prices. But you will pay extra for JP quality. I love Yonex Very Cool shirts and pants. They are really great !

Good idea to visit Bangkok and buy reasonably cheap racket from here. Rackets are more expensive in USA. :)
