The last Indonesian title in the AE was in 2003: Sigit Budiarto and Candra Wijaya (MD)

Gosh, now it is Dionysius Hayom, a guy from no where, sure, of course from Indonesia, now the only one, guy and gal, still carrying the Indonesia flag. The question is how far he can go?

Will Taufik play next year all England? I don't think he will play after 2012.

My 1000th post is sad edition :(.
This AE edition is total disaster for INA camp. Only 4.5 representative left (including Hendra Setiawan)
Only MK/HS still has good chance for title.
Today, there won't be too many casualties for INA, simply because, only few left :D :D
Hayom will lose to mighty Lin Dan. Tontowi/Lilyana and Bona/Ahsan probably can survive this 2nd round to go along with MK/HS.
I wonder why INA didn't send this team to Germany Open, for warming up, like CHN team. Financial classic problem? :D
This AE is the first competitive tournament after 'holiday' in February.
In Tennis, many player participate 'small but competitive' local tournament as warming up before Grand Slam.
You may be fit, but your form is not ready yet to face hard big tournament.
For example, forcing Sony DK to this AE is ridiculous without preceding tournament, sigh.

Agree with WS is the weakest link.
However, Febe was having trouble to defeat 39 years with 3 children mother Susi Susanti. It was stamina that saved Febe from losing.
That really give us picture about INA WS level compared to INA WS past glory.

    I read from Republika,

Marleve said that most of the official doing the task that it is NOT their authority to do and PBSI seldom asking him regarding which player to be sent to a tournament.

And Marleve feel sad to leave her protege and have discussed this to Febe cs.

Then, MR Yacob said that usually pbsi have discussed with the coach for sending players..but Marleve dont know why they didnt send Febe to AE.

Li Mao just joined the coaching staff not so long ago. It can't happen overnight. At least we see progress in 2012 Olympic if we are lucky.
