I cannot find any Indonesia female players in the main draw of this All England WS. I cannot imagine that Indonesia, as one of the most powerful power house in badminton, does not have any representation in the draw!

They have 3 in the qualification draw, but all 3 had lost in the 1st round of qualification.:eek::eek: What's wrong with that? Indonsia still are the 2nd and 3rd places in the 2 most recent Uber cup. So they are supposed the 2nd best in the world after China. But we cannot see that in the draw at all.

Is Li Mao from China going to coach the Indonesian girls? Most of Indonesian national players just lost to Singapore girls in the All england 1st round of qualification. This is unthinkable! Anyone here noticed that?

We were all shocked in the All England Qualification thread

Apparently it has something to do with Marleve Mainaky and some disputes within PBSI.

    I hope so :D :D
Yes, Yesterday was a disaster for Indonesia indeed.
This showed us that still, women's sector is the weakest sector in Indonesia.

I hope to see brighter results for them in the near future, once the internal problems between official is properly fixed.

Agree that WS is the weakest link in INA's Badminton.
If we search WS players from Pelatnas Utama (Main), Pratama (2nd string) then U-19, no find player who capable to challenge The WS Top players. The posibility just on MKY when in good form or Beijing Olympics form.
PBSI should give more chance to U-16 players to compete to International Event.

Actually Maria Febe Kusumastuti is eligible to AE Main Draw directly but the PBSI Official doesn't send her. I guess this is "Political decision" to give other players from his club has bigger chance on Sudirman Cup Selection.

The young MAS WS look much better than INA's.
You have Tee Jing Yi, Sonia, I think they have better future than Lydia. They have to choose, badminton or education. Try to focus on both caused the fail on Senior Level.

Yes, U-16 or U-17 players from club.
For older category, just keep top 3 or top 4 in Pelatnas for short term target. Give more space for younger WS players .

Now not only female Indonesians, but also their mens team, both singles and doubles, are in trouble.

Sony and Simon, both lost in their first shows in 1st round. Indonesians, both men and women, have not won any singles yet in this Super Premier most prestige tournament. The only players left are Taufik and Dionysius Hayom RUMBAKA (who is this guy?)

Is Taufik too old and Dionysius too young to carry the Indonesia flag to the top?

Dont worry, Li Mao is there. Wong Tat Meng will be joining LM in a few days time. In a couple of months, you guys should be cheering.
    There's still Kido/Hendra, Bona/Ahsan

The even seeded Mel-Grey got eliminated. Womens doubles all finished also!

What happened to the whole team of Indonesia? There must be something wrong at the management level across all teams.

I don't expect Li Mao and Wong Tat Meng too much. The most important is the players themseleves. Coaching is not that important, imho, not even as important as the team spirit. And it's contagious, when the whole team is not in the mood, none of the team members can win. :(

Dont worry...super premier just started this year. so, not only INA who hasn't got any medals. AE 2011 is the 2nd super premier tournament. first one was Korea open 2011. we have some left..
    so, still have time...:D
but for sure, will be difficult for INA team to get any medals with these conditions.

INA squad hasn't won a title in AE since what? the last 5-6 years? I'm not expecting much this year either. I don't know why PBSI is even sending SDK, isn't he still injured?
