Japanese escape by the skin of their teeth .... but they will be put to the sword by Korea.

I think Park Joo Bong should consider replacing Kenichi Hayakawa / Hiroyuki Endo. I don't see how they can win the match tomorrow.

Japan should have not lost the point from WD. They are one of the top pairs. They are the world no.1 ! But when comes to team event, most of the underdogs are always performing extremely superb. So, a reminder to the top player/pair, please take every game seriously :D

Okay congratulations to Japan and Indonesia who will be playing in the Semi finals tomorrow. Crunch time. I am predicting that Japan can win over Korea tomorrow. Predictions : MD Korea win, WS Japan win, MS Korea win; WD Japan win, XD Japan win.

Yes quite difficult to predict who will win Korea or Japan. But then? Korea players have been very inconsistent off late and they may lose early at times. Okay waiting for an exciting match tomorrow. China will surely win against Indonesia tomorrow.

They lost to Denmark pair Mads/Kolding in Thomas cup group stage too, but came back strongly to win against Chinese pair in Semis. Probably they don't fare well against Danish style

Someone here posted JOJ is sick, even Axelsen is recovering from being sick and that whole Danmark team is riddled with sickness

The Danish commentator Steen Pedersen said that Jorgensen was sick. He wasn´t even sitting with his teammates cheering for his team which he probably would have done if not for sickness if Axelsen was selected instead of him.

Kento Momota has the mental fortitude of a champion, I wouldn't be surprised if he drags Son Won Ho through the ground. KM's track record in team events have been superb, even beating Du Peng Yu last thomas cup.
Nozomi Okuhara has been playing quite superbly too, able to keep pace with Tai Tzu Ying. They'll most likely field Nozomi over Akane since Nozomi has registered a win against Sung Ji Hyun before, and most importantly registered the win last time they met.

I don't think there's a more even match up between two teams in the whole surdirman cup and I'm super excited to watch it.

    My predictions are:
    MS - KM JAP 1-0
    WS - SJH 1-1
    MD - LYD/YYS 1-2
    WD - CYN/JKE 1-3
    Winner KOR

So how many badminton courts does Dongguan have to accommodate the 50,000 players?

1535 arena (or stadium), with an annual income of RMB 250 million!!!

there are over 600 tournaments per year!!

but i am not that good in reading Chinese, so feel free to correct me if i am wrong..

PS I think Dongguan should have its own GPG event every year..
