The Danish team did remarkably well considering too that WD came down to the final 2 points - it really could have gone either way. That was a thrilling match. All the Danes played with great heart and soul for the team!

    I think KOR - JAP
MD 70 - 30 If Lee / Yoo play like today they really should win
WS 55 - 45 Tough one, but SJH played really well so far.
MS 50 - 50 Im not sure depends on how SWHs form who struggled lately but played ok today
WD 45 - 55 Japanese girls showed nerves and Korean new pair is / could be the best Korea had for quite same time. So maybe Korea is even favourite here.
XD 60 - 40 Korean combination should be a tad better than the Japanase ones.

Overall Korea should have the better chance, but it easily could turn out to become a very close battle.

For CHN - INA the MD will be very interesting, should be a close one. Also MX is possible for INA, maybe a slight chance in WD, but MS and WS should go to CHN by some margin.

Don't understand why its CY/FHF and not FHF/ZN...

I expected CY to be fielded. CY has a better experience in handling this kind of pressure.

I /guess/ so, but I don't think ZN is lacking in poise or handling pressure situations, especially since I would put my money on FHF/ZN to win and CY/FHF to lose.

But we'll see, hopefully they won't be regretting this decision by day's end.

BWF still have not put the video of the other quarter-final tie up to the website. I wonder if they are ready to broadcast today's matches. Interestingly, the first semi-final was not originally scheduled in their streaming.

Because CHN want to preserve ZN energy for the final bang.. if he plays 2 match there are greater risk to lost both matches.

Under this order of play KOR has some good chance to sweep JPN 3-0

MD: YYS/LYD has 2-0 H2H against HH/NH so MD goes to KOR
WS: SJH has 3-1 H2H against NO though she lost in the last encounter
MS: SWH has 3-0 H2H against KM, if KOR leads 2-0, KM will face increased pressure, SWH will have the upper hand to finish the task.

In fact KOR may have an easier SF than CHN's one.

It takes a great upset for JPN to beat KOR here :p
