It's also an all-INA Final in XD as Rendra Wijaya/Maria Elfira Christina keep their title hope alive after a nerve-wrecking third-set, beating Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Vanessa Neo Yu Yan [2] 21-11, 19-21, 26-24. They will face Andhika Anhar/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia tomorrow. Likewise, in WD, both Suci Rizky Andini/Della Destiara Haris [2] and Devi Tika Permatasari/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia advance to the Final after beating foreign opponents. The 2 Finals featuring INA player/pair vs foreign players will be in WS and MD. Fransiska Ratnasari will need to use all her experience to beat IND's rising star P.V. Sindhu. In the meantime, Rendra Wijaya/Rian Sukmawan also have a chance to win their second IC titles in a row, facing Ow Yao Han/Tan Wee Kiong.

Sindhu - this is also another tough match for Nana and I hope she can win her second titles in a row. WD Devi Tika Permatasari/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia vs Suci Rizky Andini/Della Destiara Haris [2] - an IC title will boost Suci/Della's confidence in preparation of their first WC in just 2 weeks time. Suci/Della to win and save Pelatnas's face! XD Andhika Anhar/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia vs Rendra Wijaya/Maria Elfira Christina - Rendra/Fira to win!
Marcus Fernaldi is an outstandingly diligent person... He asked Coach Christian for extra private sessions every morning at 6am (really private one-on-one sessions with the old master himself) before anyone else woke up. We all can see his vast improvement after getting direct supervision by the master of masters himself. But the initiative was purely Marcus'. As a singles player he did not really shine because of his height, but in doubles, he really got guts on the court... Note: Marcus is the son of Coach Kurnia Hu of Tangkas. Agrippina is argueably more naturally talented than Marcus. He got high-level techniques that many do not have. He is not as consistent as Marcus and still need more power in his game... If he can sort those 2 issues, he will be as outstanding as his other peers. His peers are the best batch of INA MD talent we have seen since the days of Eddy Hartono-Gunawan-Ricky-Rexy-Deni Kantono-Antonius-Bambang Supriyanto-Nova-Halim-Tony-Sigit-Candra-Trikus-Eng Hian-Flandy..... Note: Agrippina is the son of Coach Sigit Pamungkas of Jaya Raya.
