I think Tommy physically superior relative to Alam. Alam have better technique but too tiny in size

Tommy and Alam both are a fighter with never give up mentality. If only they have more talent like Taufik or at least like SDK or Simon.Hayom should also learn this mentality if he really want to grow.

What an ending. Alamsyah was leading 11-5 at the interval of the third-set but Tommy Sugiarto came back strongly and took the crown in 3-sets: 21-15, 13-21, 21-15. So, Tommy has his 2nd IC title this year. Now, he should really focus his mind on winning a GP title, hopefully in the upcoming Vietnam Open GP 2011.

Andini/Della deserve to be 4th wd after Mel/Greys, Vita/nadya, and Anneke/Nitya. Tommy showed his maturity in his game to beat Yunus.

PV Sindhu denied INA's clean sweep to defeat Nana, and Rendra Wijaya won 2 titles here. Congrats!

OYH/TWK did pretty well in their first international tournament as a pair, although they lost :)

Congratulations to Suci Rizky Andini/Della Destiara Haris for successfully defending their WD title and thereby saving Pelatnas's face. Also to Rendra Wijaya/Rian Sukmawan for winning their second IC title in a row. They are becoming a potent combination, having won 2 international titles and 3 Sirnas titles now.

Tommy celebrating his win... Rendra smashing away for his 2nd consecutive MD International Challenge title... I think Rian-Rendra are undefeated for 10 straight international matches now...

I recommend the video between Rian-Rendra vs. the Malaysians... It was a good match.

The match between Sindhu vs. Nana was a demostration of how talented this tall Indian girl is. Nana didn't play badly, but Sindhu just outclass her in technique... Especially her overhead variations.... Chops, drops, half-smashes, smashes, criss-cross here and there... quite awesome for such a young girl... Unless any injury stop her career, we shall see her for a loong loooong time :p
