Minions might have won the game. But the daddies won the heart, admiration and awe to anyone who watch them play in this tournament

I dont like that. they were shouting at beginning of 3rd game. If they wish , they should have shouted from beginning rather than after they lost G2.

    Dear Friends,

It was amazing as usual being here during the course of these days.I always believe in speaking my mind out and be never too proud to admit my mistakes,If I commit any,and never too shy to put fort my opinions.

I understand I may appear offensive at times to those, who I just tend to be defensive against,However, its never my motive to intentionally hurt or personally attack anyone here.

Lastly,Thanks to all the Moderators for giving me the oppprtunity to put forth my opinions and my respected people -:

    #Cheung , #Galaxyduo , 2×WC Silver Medalist Mr #MortenFrostHansen , Mr #Hassefar , Mr #LenaiC

    Best Of Luck
See you Guys in Korea :)

Somehow I feel Ahsan/Hendra's shots quality doubles or triples up when one is injured.

Yes but I also understand why some or even a lot of indonesia fans don't like it when minions still celebrating like after ahsan's injury got worse. I personally would prefer them to just celebrate the point calmly after ahsan's medical treatment.

They just lost G2. They needed to motivate themselves. They usually celebrate all the time in other matches but reserved themselves in the first two games. They almost lost the games.

    Question about Olympic qualification..
INA has 3 pairs in top 8 presumably.
Ahsan/setiawan is not with national team but professional. Does that mean INA will get 3 slots?
Or it just means fajar rian cannot be picked by the national team because ahsan /Hendra as professional will choose to play in Olympics

That's a bit unfair. Not minions fault that Ahsan got injured the first place.
I don't want minions ended up like other pairs who lost to injured players out of respect.

No. Maximum slot per country is two per category.

I think it's understandable if the injured player on the other side of the court are player from the other country and they still celebrate it like that, but ahsan/hendra are their senior, a legend in the eyes a lot of indonesians...so not celebrating verbally against them after ahsan's medical treatment is a sign of respect. just my opinion though.

In another perspective, celebrating points shows respect. Shows it is still hard to play against the daddies.. I guess it depends how u see it.
But I am pretty sure minions will not dare to disrespect the daddies...

The Olympic quota has nothing to do with the players' status. All it matters are just that the country can only send 2 pairs at max. Also, INA MD head coach has made his statement clear that he will let his top 3 INA MDs fighting each other to secure the Olympic sport. Fajar/Rian have to work really, really hard to obtain that spot.

I am sure minions won't mean to disrespect daddies. They only start to shouting in G3. Looks like they just let themselves go without anything holding them back. They are extrovert characters from what I see. When they shout, they look at their own partner.

Yeah I dont mind them shouting at the beginning of G3, but after ahsan's medical treatment I kinda hope they would just celebrate the point calmly since I think they're in comfortable lead already.

And play half heartedly then lost? Why don't we just hand out the trophy to Ahsan/Hendra straight away then? My view is that on court, everyone is equal.

That's how I see it too. Minions were just doing their best and that's how they do their best. And it's a lose lose situation for them anyway, win or lose they won't feel like they really won anything. Marcus was visibly under performing and nervous while Kevin was much more calmer and in control.

I could see they were struggling of how to handle the situations with Ahsan's injury. I could also tell they were indecisive at times on how to score the point. But I am glad they made it through in G3 especially Marcus who was quite under performing here. He was the one who always need to celebrate. At the end, Kevin just smiled at his partner when Marcus was celebrating a little on his own showing how relieved he was.
