Yeah. Never on my LN rackets. Only on some other rackets, but never with rackets that had a normal ping once, so I don't think it's inconsistent stringing.

Thanks, I will try that. Any suggestions?

Yeah, that's exactly how it feels... :(

for some time i went for 13.5/15 on my BS when i was using a ngy95, worked out fine. however, i cannot recommend the lining no1 at higher tensions than 12.5. it just gets too hard. its imo a good replacement for a BG80 at lower tensions to get the same feeling as a bg80 at high tensions, but if you go as high as 13/14 id rather stick to a BG80 or VS850 ifyou need that hard string feeling

I've got the No1 on my N90, 13kg iirc....feels nice :D but yeah, often thinner strings dont feel as nice on higher tensions. As the tension increases, elasticity drops, and a thinner diameter string is affected ealier than a thicker one. Bg65 should feel livelier than Bg80 with insanely high tensions 15kg and higher), although Bg80 is pretty mich made to withstand the highest (somewhat commonly used) tensions. Vs850 was a disappointment for me all the way. Couldnt get it to feel nice, ever.

I never had issues with my BS10's. Strung them regular at 13,5/14,5kg or 14/15kg during the last summers. Actually I run them at 13,5/14kg or at 13/14kg during the winter. Both survive this tensions for around 3 years.

The Bs12 caved in at the smallest touch of a partner's racket in doubles, and one broke at the grip. One didnt stand up to a frame hit on a smash (didnt get replaced)...so overall, while I liked it feeling-wise, I wasnt impressed at all with durability or Victor's service (apart from not replacing the frame-hit broken racket, they also tried to prevent ppl from buying from Asia by stating any imported products were fakes).
Bs10 was better, although I cant recall any big clashes with mine they both held up nicely.

With softer frames like the BS12 you need to be careful with stringing at high tensions. Not that it will break during stringing, but it will buckle the inside of the frame over time.

I found that stringing at 31lb+ on any of my BS12 and BS12 KRPs the inside of the frame started to gradually cave in slightly after a few months. So I had to alter my stringing pattern/technique to get around this.

Even on stiffer frames like the BS11 and LHI, I get a little deformation, but this only occurred after 6mths or so.

Naah, it's not the string. I've tried the No. 1 at 13/14kg on other rackets and it was perfectly fine. I think it's the BS frame that changes the feeling and ping.

I experienced something similar with a dc badminton/panda power racket. The racket with the short ping played horribly. I had a near identical racket with same stringing that was fine. It played so badly I sent it back for a second opinion. It was restrung but I still didn't like how it played even then.

So it was the racket itself it your case? Hmm, I think it's the same for me. I checked the black/red BS12 of a club mate (strung with BG65) and the ping was normal. :(

Of course not. They tried to block my shoes, and I had to tell the customs lady about 100 times that I was entirely sure they werent fakes.

hahaha yeahhh, that was quite a bargain! and i fell in love with it

swing faster than Jetspeed 8PS and 9 (thats i'm selling them lol), better defence/net/drive

but in exchange of a abit reduction in smash speed vs. JS 8PS/9 (am not a gd smasher anyways, so....)

Yeah I'll say it's more steal than bargain? Lol

Cos of your fast hand I've to settle for a 3U version.. Waiting for it to arrive.. Hope to be compensated with a little more power over speed. :)

Just received mine today, 3UG5 unstrung with orig grip n plastic wrap, 90g... Seems like I've got a 2u instead?

Feels pretty stiff n slightly head heavy and can feel the weight at T joint during dry swings.

Hopefully with over grip and string on it'll feel more even balanced.

Plastic wrap is 1.4g so no. You simply have a heavy 3U =P

    wow 90g

but overall raq weight shldnt relate to head weight nor shaft stiffness right? i thought it only reduces swing speed thats all

last wk i saw on Chinese forum in China, BS12N (CN code) on most authorised online vendors is going on sale, ard 510RMB only, which is ard SGD 110 - 115 only sia, including string
