    Here's how the unboxing went.

    - Oh a big box, what's inside?
    - Opens box
    - Cool, a stringing machine.

    You've got two knobs?! Freak.

(Having said this, I've got two myself - one on the end of the other.)

I have 4, I'm a giver. I used to have 6 but that was too fiddly.

Question for you folks, im in a position to start upgrading my machine :)

As I currently can only afford one at the moment which do you folks recommend, similar to OP i currently own a Pros Pro Challanger :

I can currently afford one of two options

    1. Upgrade the dropweight to a WISE 2086 or
    2. Change machine to S90

Further down the line I will get the other anyway but as of now I can only get one, which would you recommend? :)

I'm sure you will find both opinions in here. :)

Personally, I would always choose option 2. Better to get a solid machine as foundation for any further upgrades. IMO the better clamps, bases and mounting system give you a far bigger boost in your string job quality and consistency than going from drop weight to electric. At least that was my experience.

By the way we also have the 90 with an other Motor = E90. The Motor is assambled from the factory which produce the wise tensionhead. e90-500.jpg

For all stringers who can´t afford the machine with the wise tensionhead is this a good Option (it is 150,- Euro cheaper then the wise Version)

How's the machine setup coming along? Ready for some pictures to show it off yet? I'm still patiently waiting for my superstringer s90, apparently it will take at least 3-4 weeks for delivery into USA according to Dirk.

Hmm, are you using the verb correctly? Just wondering if the verb 'to be' is better used here? ROFL.:D

I ordered only the drop weight. I will order the wise separately, because I live in the same state as the wise retailer, so warranty will be easier for me as well. After I get my wise and have it installed, I will definitely post pics of my new toy .

I got my machine on yesterday morning on Friday 1/19/18, and the stamp on the box shows 12/29/17, so it took 21 days to ship to USA from Germany by DHL parcel. Thankfully, I didn't have to pay duty on it, since the machine price was not over my duty free amount . Had I bought the s90 with WISE, it would be a different story.

Sorry, I didn't have time to put together an unboxing video, but I did take a few pictures. I will definitely post some pics once I have it out and ready. I hope I can tell a better unboxing story than DW .

If you want to Mount a wise tensionhead you Need an adaptor to Mount the Motor (as low as possible).

    Standard Adapter:
    https://www.tennisman.de/Weiteres/B...ml?force_sid=81d634112497792348c26a1896236c64

The Picture is wrong. For the S90 we drill 2 extra wholes so that it fits to the S90 machine Otherwise the Motor will be to near to turntable.

But the most important thing is that you have to raise the turntable and for this you must have some washer with 4 wholes.

Example (for tennis Version, the Badminton is smaller)

    https://www.tenniswarehouse.com.au/...achines/spinfire-height-adaptor-for-wise.html

=> So for all of you which think about ordering the S90 machine and Mount the wise later i hardly recommend to tell us that you want to do this and then you can buy the Special washer and Adapter with the drop weight machine.
