Honestly this IND pair is mix of typical indian power (big size) + Indonesian speed and interception Huge potential
Sensational, a breakout tournament for Ranki/Shettty. I think they adopted the right strategy of playing mainly fast flat exchanges, keeping the shuttle down and never lifting it and always to the front court area as far as possible - it sort of caught Li/Liu off-guard who somehow didn't quite adjust to it fully. In addition, the young IND pair had nothing to lose but everything to gain. In G1, Ranki/Shetty even won not a few points receiving serve by their trick return shot. Also , throughout the entire match Li Junhui had few opportunities to unleash his thunderous smash, at the same time both LJH and LYC made more than their fair share of errors. I'm even thinking Li/Liu might be feeling as if they were playing another pair of Marcus/Kevin. Congrats to Ranki/Shetty for their maiden S500 title.
What? Didn't know this is happening now in Thailand... https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/canada-travel-advisory-thailand-2019 Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Unbelievable win from CTC. Coming back in the decider from 16 - 20 to win his second tournament in 3 weeks 23 -21. Epic final again...
Poor Higashino she did so well but all in vain. Watanabe squandered I don't know how many game points by playing extravagant shots. One game to the good for Wang and Huang.
Yay another title for Wang/Huang! Tight games all the way. I don't think Wang could go on any longer, he seemed very tired.
arrrghhh! Watanabe let his partner down. This is probably the closest they have come to beating the chinese pair since HK Open 2018. So disappointed as a fan
