Strange to say I am glad to hear Gillian Clark. The other commentators just seem to be able to say empty but positive praises out of a commentator phrase book.
If Sindhu played and lost the way AY did , that's fine with you, just because she didn't retire the match? No, I'm not giving excuses for SYQ, I condemned him just as much. Anybody in ASY's shoes could play very well against that Akane, I assure you. Talking about cumulative fatigue, as if you didn't know how SYQ has been playing non-stop from the Olympics to the 14-day China National Games to the Sudirman Cup and her at the Thomas Cup. Again, no excuse for what he did but he certainly is no less tired than Akane as far as the toll of accumulated fatigue is concerned.
I'm trying to see the reaction of Chen Yu after SYQ decided to retire but cannot. Still unable to figure out whether it was his own decision or direction from the coach, but really weird to retire at match point. I tried to think many ways but still cannot understand what happened.
You are being unfair to me and taking me out of context, go read all my relevant posts on SYQ's misbehaviour, outrageous performance. I'm not forgiving him, so watch what you are accusing me of.
She looks like she has not aged a day haha. She did lose some weight however compared to her debut days
TBH, the way you write here, I thought you were making excuses for SYQ too. Maybe you didn't but I misunderstood. I think its different if you lose ugly than you a soreloser. AY have her bad days (she lost to a Singaporean shuttler) and she didn't played well matches after. We can't really blame someone who just couldn't perform. Maybe she is too tired or mentally breaking down. Intanon did wasn't nice, but she isn't a sore loser to "I won't lose coz it's not 21-5". Intanon could really go and play and I think she won't retire 20-5 or 20-whatever if she decides to take it to 20.
Apparently, you continue to vent your frustrations at MAS loss on SYQ, just picking on him alone, and piling on your own accusations and adding oil to fire. Be careful, don't overdo it and expose yourself for what you are. By all means criticise SYQ, he deserves it but don't go overboard, I'd advise you.
Really surprised to see you out of all people being that harsh... Imo SYQ did it all for the sake of the team since he could not score a point for the team himself. I don't expect anything to happen to SYQ for this apart from a shitstorm which I honestly don't think he deserves...
ASY has more deception in her shots and more sting. CYF not so much and the match outlook will be a bit different
SYQ's G1 loss at deuce 20-22 is a much better fight than Akane's two-set rout , hands down. And intanon retiring at 2-5 in G1 is much better, more forgiving than SYQ's two-set defeat, just because he retired at 19-20? That's your moral yardstick? Only what you consider the worst is wrong, unacceptable, the rest are OK, pardonable, understandable?
How can AY go from playing lights out at the sudirman cup and immediately to this with in one week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Seems like somebody got offended lol. Did I questioned your condemnation of Shi Yu Qi? I don't even care about who's condemning whom. Had Sindhu played and lost the way AY did, I definitely would have gotten mad over her performance but I definitely wouldn't have dragged her name along with IR and SYQ, both are completely different scenarios. That's not how my defense mechanism work. Try and avoid quoting this post of mine because I definitely don't want to argue with you any further. Ciao
It was THE UMPIRE'S fault, not SI JUKI'S. She should have forced SI JUKI to finish the match, but she did not.
