I am not. Not any national team will do that.

Cold comfort. She's as good as throwing the match to ASY. Did you ever see Akane played and lost the way she did before?

Shocking, as much as SYQ's loss in G2 to KM (except for the retiring part). No consolation, if I were you.

Look what SYQ did was the worse. Don't try to cover him shifting some shame on others.

If enough Chinese gets disgusted by him, he will face some consequences ...
but we don't know what will it be for him back home ... but the international fans are not happy with that

Shi Yu Qi is the winner amongst the three honestly. As far as Akane Yamaguchi is concerned, she did finished the match so we can't just speculate that she didn't tried her best. Knowing her style of play and the number of matches she has played of late, she could be simply tired and nothing more. And An Se was playing really well so let's not take anything away from her.

I don’t want to believe what SYQ said in the interview, but at this rate it can’t be helped. This hits me so hard as I support him, and even more sad seeing him being so nonchalant about it :( Maybe I should stop caring about him if he doesn’t care about the situation either, but I still want to support him… I don’t know.

Ratchanok, injured, where, when? Unfit is another matter. The why field her as WS1 in a team event?

As for Akane 's atrocious game in defeat, is it any consolation to you that she played to the very end? My full reply is the same as what I wrote to Quentin11 :

    WS1 and WD1 are 50/50 matches
    WS2 leans towards HBJ
    WD1 leans towards MMNM
    WS3 is a completely wildcard!

This is gonna be a long day.

And like I said - I think you are pushing it to cover for the total shame that SYQ did.

Only way to win for Japan is to win WS1, and the two women doubles. A huge ask.

It is 30-70 in favour of China on paper

AY beat CYF in SC last week. She also has a higher H2H. So it is entirely possible.
