Not sure. Unless Denmark sees new emerging MS or they will still have to rely on these old horses. Pity the Den team it is always so close yet so far.

They have been beaten by Bo/Mogensen in Swiss this year.

Funny that many Malaysians always support Danish palyers as a second alternative to their own team. I mean, Peter Gade could have passed off as a Malaysian palyer based on the support he had form the fans during MO07.

I feel so sorry for DEN for not making it to SF. Would this be the last TC for veterans like PG, KJ, JE/MLH & LP/JR?

It's going to be exciting semi-finals in Thomas Cup. Frankly speaking, if plays on the neutral ground, the current depth of stregth of Korea team might have slightly better edge than Indonesia. Park vs Sony (55-45), 1st double (50-50), LHI vs Taufik (50-50), 2nd double korea should beat Indo 2nd, but Indo 3rd single should beat korea 3rd single.

    INA's 2nd MD, Candra-Nova, will not be easily defeated. I say 50-50 chance... ;)

However old they are, ...Candra is still the #5 or #6 ranked MD on Earth. While Nova is the #1 ranked XD on Earth. They can play badminton very very well and have practiced together for more than 10 years... ;) Both got good fighting attitude. They won't go down easy...

I also think Korea is in the great position to advance to Final, team Indonesia has yet to show their ability to win convincingly against the weaker teams. With Taufik current form, he may not even win as MS3 and he already finding excuses for himself ... family man now ...
I think it will be the China vs Korea in the Final, lets just hope Malaysia put up a solid fight before we bow out.

Exactly...I thought it was this pair Candra Wijaya/Nova Widianto that beat Lee Jae Jin/Hwang Ji Man a few weeks ago?

Together with the home support, I think INA does have a slight edge.

So sad to hear the defeat of Denmark

And feel shame on S. Korea:mad:
I am expecting INA or CHN or MAS gives a white wash to S. Korea

The INA fans here don't think KOR can be defeated easily at all... :p The 8500 fans in Istora apparently all knew that INA is better off playing against DEN. They were shouting Denmark, Denmark today... :p :D But, oh well... in the end, the Koreans were better...
