No live telecast from RTM :crying: :crying: :crying: I just confirmed with RTM that they will not be showing live telecast match between Koo-Tan & Cai-Fu because RTM didnot buy the rights to telecast. RTM don't have enough money. Their funds reserved for more prestigious matches, so she claimed.
much beteer for indonesia in this turney, if all lose its OK, coz they allready beat higher rank b4 they reach so far, Hopefully there are still one or two representative of INA in Semifinals, I think, Vita/Polli, and Rijal/Polli for MS Simon has much chace than Sonny but overall its great for INA squad so far, all sre young guns [Great]
How come i cannot find the exact time for the match of our Malaysian Pairs? Argh, the tournament software didnt post up also. I shall wake up for their GAME only. Please post the time if anyone knows. TQ
More exciting QF than last week All England. MS -- when INA meet CHN in 2 matches, Simon vs CY (+/- 18.40 local time/00.40 WIB) Head-to-head 2:0 for CY, possible SF ticket for this INA promising star. Sony vs LD part two (22.00/04.00 WIB) After beat BCL, now Sony get a challenge to stop Mr.Winner. Can he?! WS -- Time for ZN to take revenge meanwhile from bottom-half draw seems we will see all-Chinese-semifinal tomorrow MD -- Hard to Hendra/Joko to win over the senior T/C and Rian/Eng Hian should able to overcome KOR 2nd pair. Cai/Fu certainly have learnt a lot from their lost but still difficult to beat the Malaysian. WD -- Hmm unusual condition, only 1 Chinese pair in this area so wide open for others grab the title here XD -- lack of top-names, M.Rizal/Greysia has chance to pass this round and also Xie/Zhang.
It seems that you still didn't get my point. I was just raising an opposite possibility. It's possible that, as you have suggested, CY/FHF may not have the energy as in AE to fight KKK/TBH. However, one can't deny another possibility which is that they are fully aware of the situation they are facing - if they lose to KKK/TBH the third time in a row, chances are that a mental block will be developed and it will take a long time (in terms of WR point earning, several months is a long time) for them to get rid of it. That's why I elaborate a possibility that they will go all the way out in today's match to avoid such an outcome (plus their analysis in KKK/TBH's playing style might help them). I'm sorry that if raising the film as an example has confused you. The reason I raised the example is merely for explaining the mental block phenomenon in general (it's something like "If player A has never beaten player B in all 10 previous encounters, player B will always hold the psychological advantage when he faces player A in the future until A wins for the first time."). I'm not trying to specifically refer ROCKY case to CY/FHF vs. KKK/TBH. With my background in psychology (not at professional level but I did study it), I am just inferring a possible scenario on CY/FHF's psyche :- I don't think a mental block has been developed right after AE final because CY/FHF's two loses took place 3 months apart and they might have just considered themselves underestimated their opponents and had bad lucks; however, if CY/FHF loses again today, i.e., two defeats in less than a week's time, we can be pretty sure that a mental block will be developed. Maybe I should raise the film's case at all because we are all sports fans are well aware of the mental block phenomenon. No, I have never been badly influenced by films as you thought - I raised that for a different reason than what you've misinterpreted.

Sony did get injuries here and there in the past 2 years. In December 2006, PBSI fired his coach, Joko Suprianto. Sony immediately painted his hair yellow and claim: "This is hair is my symbol of liberation from that awful coach!" In December, during the Indonesia's national championship, Sony beat Taufik Hidayat in straight sets. We all knew that he is back. Alive and kick'in!
There is a pair that I have pity on during the course of the last 4 super series. I feel the Danish pair, Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen, despite in the old age, still have a brilliant play and are much better than their fellow JE/MLH. Though, they always got an unlucky draw and hemce always halted before Quarter Final. Losing against CW/TG twice and MK/HS in the very early round, they didn't deserve these draws since they can always force the Indonesian pairs into a tough third set. If only they were seeded second instead of JE/MLH, they would have been able to advance to SF.
well, the reason for their lower ranking is because they stopped playing competitively for a while last year, whilst JE/ML were playing consistently and getting decent results. so their #2 seeding is currently justified, although i'm sure that'll change pretty soon ...
