Jia you is like giving motivation and to cheer up their fighting spirit and never give up, never surrender attitude. Of course there are may other meanings, you just have to name them.

I don't think so. I remenbered Jiang Jialiang beat a Sweden player by 22:20 in MS event final of 1989 Table Tennis Championships while Jiang was down to that Sweden player 16:20. And so did Liu Guozheng in 2001 TT Championships, he beat a Koren plyer by 25:23 in MT SF while Liu was down to that koren player 17:20, 18:20, 19:20, 20:21, 21:22, 22:23.

"Jia You" is equivalent to "come on" in English in a sport perspective.:)

I am late and missed all the fun. Glad to know Malaysia won two titles. It is fun to follow the matches on the net with you guys-- the multinational virtual spectators! Keep it up guys...

Both are very aggresive explosive player that uses stamina and agility to outplay their opponents! The deciding factor is still deception I reckon...
Xia is too direct... he is fast and he doesn't change the tempo of his game...
It is always fast and hard rallies... guess that explains why he ran out of gas

I am glad that the Malaysians have won the MS and MD.

But the real test is at the All England. Cannot be too complacent.

    LCW shows no mercy.

Lcw is truly a committed professional player which all up and coming junior players should emulate. One aspect of his game, which is undeniably remarkable,is that heshowsnomercy. He has given ducks to Taufik and Xia.Malaysian players generally tend to take things lightly wheneyer they have a big lead. This sometimes they have to pay dearly. If all malaysian players can have this attitude then only we can stand a chance to wrest back the Thomas cup.Anyway congrats Lcw and KKK/CCM.LCW u have made Kim Hock's job easier. Now he doesnt have to crack his head over the choice of the single player to represent Malaysia in the commonwealth games.
