England playing schedule is not favourable as they will play their 2 ties in less than 24 hours.

But I think England has chances to win XD and MD.

    So my prediction is KOR - ENG : 3 -2, with ENG leading 2 - 1 first.

ENG will be the first one to be out of the Sudirman Cup this year.

JPN - GER : 3 -2 at least. JPN will win MD and WD and they just need to win another one. Most likely will be XD.

Indeed, unfavourable schedule for ENG team. Yup, looking at their performance against DEN, they potentially will steal 1 or 2 points from KOR.
JPN vs GER, brilliant Schenk big possible will deliver point today after her sensational winning over world #1 yesterday.

But, today ENG will field different MD.
And except MD, KOR will field best team (MD itself is KSH/YYS, which is not too much different in quality with JJS/LYD)

1 XD Yong Dae Lee / Jung Eun Ha vs Jenny Wallwork / Nathan Robertson
2 MS Sung Hwan Park vs Rajiv Ouseph
3 MD Yeon Seong Yoo / Sung Hyun Ko vs Anthony Clark / Christopher Langridge
    4. WS Youn Joo Bae vs Elizabeth Cann
    5. WD Min Jung Kim / Jung Eun Ha vs Jenny Wallwork / Gabrielle White

My prediction for this match is 5-0 for KOR

I wonder an upset by GER.
GER double player are balanced, and still has chance to steal points from JPN.
High probably, WD will be JPN's. But GER could take WS and XD.
Second match Tago vs Zwiebler will be decider.

My prediction is 3-2 (not sure who will win)

KOR 4-1 ENG. Think ENG might steal the XD

JPN 3-2 GER. Zwiebler played better than the score suggested against LD. Has a chance to pick up a point. Schenk–robot soldier–was amazing yesterday; she should win too. GER doubles looked awful–JPN to win all 3

THA 4-1 IND. Saina might pick up one for IND; depends who she plays.

MAS 3-2 RUS. RUS to take WS and XD. Even then I'm not sure.

No offense, but... my goodness. Look at those Sri Lankan shuttlers' names.

    Edirimuni Dinuka Perera Karunararhna
    Edirimuni Niluka Rushan Perera Karunarathna
    Lasitha Menaka Karunathilaka
    Renu Chandrika De Silva Hettiarachchi
    Thilini Sudhara Jayasinghe
    Achini Nimeshika Rathnasiri Kapuru Mudiyanselage
    Samanthika Pathirnalage Weerasinghe

Do the umpire have to read their full name out loud?

Both Wallwork and Ha are the weak links by far in this match

JPN and KOR have scored first point through their XD despite both pairs lost first game to GER and ENG respectively.

Good matches so far in XD. Both went to rubber. PSH v Ouseph is not very exciting though
