Some of the BAM people are stupid. Look at entry list SIN Open SS. No MAS WS, WD & XD back-up players in there. Still want to put WPT/CEH in the list. Why can't let they playing in SIN after playing in THAI open? Singapore is just near the Malaysia. The XD pairs (CPS/GLY, CSC/OJG) & WD pairs (Marelyn NG/Lim YL , Vivian/Woon & GLY/CSC) can easily play in the main draw @ qualifying round because the field is not so strong compared to MS & WS fields. How to improve the players if you are so strict about tournaments they have to play? I agree that Thai WS players play more tournaments compare to our WS players. That's why in the such young age, they show more improvement than ours. Hopefully all the BAM people can think about this thing. Just because you have send the players to one or two small tournaments, you can demand them to perfom well everytime.

Well, BAM does not look like they know how ranking points work or how to launch and maintain their players ranking. GanTan can offer them some ( paid or free? ) education in that area. The secret is this: Once a player is among the top 28, he will be in the main draw of SS. All he has to do is play a mix of 15 or 16 tournaments, reach second round half the time, he will always be in the main draw. This is just a rough estimate. Maybe someone can go into the details and calculate exactly how many tournaments are required to maintain main draw ranking averaging second round performance. Look at JPN MS and MD, even WS and WD. They play in so many tournaments they look like they are targeting at least two representatives in each category for OG12! What about BAM? They look like they don t even understand arithmetic ( I heard lawyers are not good in that area except when it concerns their fees. And the CTC chairman is a lawyer, oh dear!)

Wow, the THA v IND match sure looked interesting. IND won key matches in MS, MD and WD where I thought THA were stronger.

If THA beats TPE 4-1, they win the group. If they win 3-2, then it's a straight count back between the 3 countries. What a tight and even group

MAS fans, give your team a break. They chose some younger players to give them exposure. I've read complaints that they don't get enough of it, but in this case, when they do, they still get abused. Not everyone's a lCW, you know.

Take a leaf out of the INA fans' book. Be supportive of your team, be positive to the players

I do think THA will beat TPE, most likely 3-2. THA could win the MD match too. TPE's Fang/Lee are iffy and you never know what you'll get from THA MD

BAM should have more courage to expose young players, just because they failed at a stage they quickly write them off together with some of our hard Malaysian critics make the whole situation worse. At the end most of the players felt demolished and could not get their game going.

For example when Wang Shixian lost does Li Yongbo said she is a mistake. No but said it is just mental and they know how to addressed the problem.

For BAM it is reported as weak mental of players and some are quickly written off as weak.where is talent then.

BAM should look at how others countries exposed their young players by sending them to easier tournament and slowly built them to be strong. This is something that BAM failed to do despite strong financial support from all sectors
