Shouting/cheering at opponents errors

    Here’s another scenario I encountered this weekend. Two junior players 10 and 9 years old. Player judged the shuttle to be out, did not hit it with the shuttle ending up outside the line.

    Audience applauds - is that justified for good judgement or poor manners because mistake by opponent? The player who won the point fist pumps himself for good judgement. Is that bad manners?

    BTW, the players just got on with the next point. Good mental resilience. It’s good to develop kids to be resilient to distractions and stay focused.
