as an Indo badminton fan I am really dissappointed with the results...this is indeed dissappointing for Indo badminton...it is showing we are slowly gone from the world of Badminton.........I mean MS didn't take anything....dats very dissappointing..............

Bona/Ahsan is likely to figure in the many Gold GP events lasting till end of the year, which is good news. SS will probably come either next year or the following year, if they manage to cope with the senior pairs.

Excuse me...winning 3 out of 5 events are already good enough
The competition in MS is always the stiffest and there's no guarantee who will win it until the very end.

Come on Kido...you must be kidding.....Vietnam challenge is slightly tougher than NZ open....may be not in MS but it has been a while any junior/younster of INA enters the final...give it time...you can not expect instant result...

beating Koreans in MD and WD are really good as they were supposed to be better than INAs...

Right now...they rank 57th, by winning this challenge....they will rise to between 42 to 45....so depends on Singapore's result.. ..they may taste some SS before end of the year....it is possible..though...INA needs more MD back up....

I am proud to be Indonesian today!

Well I am not dissapointed at all... :p

Indonesian players are in the finals of ALL FIVE categories...;)
Got THREE TITLES out of the possible five. The XD final was all-Indonesian. Thiese kind of results remind me of the early 1990s, actually... :D

The MS final was competitively played. Rubber sets, but obviously Tan Chun Seang was the better player today and he deserved to win. Ari Yuli Wahyu defeated Nicholas Kidd and Roslin Hafiz to reach the finals. These 2 players are ranked so much higher than Ari and more experienced too. I'd say Ari is becoming a competitive player... in addition to his roommate, Andre Kurniawan. I see no reason for me to be dissapointed in MS. :p

The WS final was won by the obviously stronger and more experienced Tracey Hallam. No cries there. Maria Elfira has done an outstanding job to get this far... :D

Probably due to limited budget... :p And the ratings won't be high for the MD finals since there are no Vietnamese there either...

    What's Thomas' full name???
I met, talked to him, and even went to his hotel room before, cuz he shared room with Hendrawan who was sick, and I had to bring the doctor to see Hendrawan. That was Denmark Open 2006 in Aarhus.

Just got back to the office (not working Sat & Sun) to be informed of this. I think this is a very good result and the Indonesian juniors are making a very good impact. So the tradition will carry on.... and Indonesian fans should be more than satisfied with their performance. :)

Funny though it may seem, but the events should be correctly spelt as (eg):

    WOMEN'S SINGLES

    MEN'S SINGLES

    MEN'S DOUBLES

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES

    MIXED DOUBLES
