Is the JS12ii redundant if I already have Auraspeeds Hypersonic and 100x? On paper it seems they fulfill the same role.

I much prefer the js12ii to Hypersonic, the js12ii is more stable and more powerful.
I've not used 100X due to the issues with them breaking.

JS12ii has a slightly stronger smash and than 100x. But 100x wins in compensating mishits

Curious, my experience is the opposite where 100x is brutal on off centered shots and JS12-ii is more friendly
JS12-ii has easier access to power whereas 100x has higher power ceiling but require excellent technique to access.

I agree that JS12ii is very easy to use and easy access to power.
I cant compare to 100X but have used most of the Victor range and find the JS12ii the easiest to pick up and play.

100x is the most forgiving racket for mishit

It was not only the JS10. The JS8PS, JS10 (Odol) and yellow JS12 suffered from sinking. I had luck with the only watermelon I bought, others not on BC. But went through a few Odol, others didn't have an issue. Even a former clubmate who used the old JS10 don't have any issue till now.

Agreed, I had lots of JS10 and JS12 and never had an issue, obviously I wasn't strong enough to cause any sinking! :(
