    CIMB-SPRA Badminton Championship 2010

    To all,

Friendly matches start with friendly games to iron out differences and to strengthen friendliness. Kudos to Alvin, have not seen him writing such comment for a long time now, I remember Alvin have once got on the wrong side of Captain Hen or was the other way round but now they are best badminton mates. In badminton, to be best badminton friends is to help others beat your ownself and vice versa.

Nevertheless, just to pre-empt everyone the CIMB-SPRA Badminton Championship will be on again with better support from CIMB, so those who want real tournament with cash prizes and meet with best in KL South, do enrol yourselves, tentative dates will be 17-21 March in Seri Petaling Community Hall, otherwise watch the mesmerizing Open categories, we hope to have the Japanese contestants again with their lightning fast foot work (Alvin, you will love it) and explosive doubles from Nusa Mahsuri. Captain Hen, will you enrol again?

    Woohoo Da Ge~!

The Manager has spoken...and the Captain has full backing~ I believe Joseph will cater for all FMs not just ours. Where else can we find a sports centre which provides transport? Now that is truly a Malaysian Hospitality every provider/business oughta adopt.

    Wahey Simon~!

Its been ages since we last spoke. Indeed I second the first para and it was the Captain who wrongly caught my tail then. And indeed we are close compatriots now.

Now, a third SPRA would be exciting especially with international standard participants. Kudos to SPRA for the constant improvement in organising baddy tourneys. Being me, and as how Simon describes, I will definitely love to watch the Speedy Gonzales in court. :D Now, do you want me to umpire the finals again? :p

I wonder why now days got a lot of so call good player but equips with shallow mentality. Do they need to provoke others just to tell others that they are good?? I believe they are some other better way to do this. Why cant we just have fun in the court and stop provoking others.Show off is an bad Idea.

SPRA actually pay for the services of linesmen and the umpires? Goodness, all the years when I was linejudging during the All England Championships, I have to pay for lotsa things myself. So this is a better bet compared to All England. :D

Biasalah bro, the era now is different, the humble era where we were from no longer exists. Some young kids now are even fiercer than us. And not just in court, even on the road, young kids can become road bullies. Sekali provoke, habislah kena bantai.

Moral = we better stay in our humble era and mentality, its safer.

i have been following this tread with enormous interest, seems like a war field over the past few days with a lot of heaty exchanges between the 2 rival badmniton group.
I think i do agreee with YCH statement regarding the mentality of so call good players, who post a video of themself playing , trying to tell the whole world how good they are( intermediate or high intermediate??? which i think probably quite intimidating to other players ) and did a lot of trash talking among themself in the forum, yet refusing to accept the challenge from the other team for a friendly match, i think this is highly disappointing to say the least.
However the challenging team could be a little more subtle and should not be too provocative as this might hurt other's feeling.
We are in this forum for the love of this beautiful game, please try not to be too judgemental , banishing each other will probably get us no where and leave a very bitter taste to every one, hope this will end soon.
    ENJOY LIFE!!!!!

chun li & thunder killer - wow was that some kind of warning?? is that how u all asking for friendly match?? I bet that dont categorize as friendly at all. who are the one being rude at the first place? u or me?? I thought our level of understanding and respect are same but i was wrong. I would rather said look at your sentence and your words before u link them with kindergarten kids. yes and i agree with u that i cant stop u from stepping over hen head if u want to with intention or unintentionaly by alll means... SO ?? and let me remind u that i SPEAK FOR MYSELF and i dont REPRSENT any one.
