Even Tien Minh may not be able to tire out Lin Dan. Tien Minh is an attacking player, he will smash on any high ball even though it won't kill the opponent. His phylosophy is "the best defense is continuos offense" which I kind of agree to certain extend. If you watch the recent matches Tien Minh played against Hafiz and Choon Hann, he just smashed whenever he possibly could, in position or out of position, and was pretty effective. Will that work against Lin Dan? Lin Dan better be preapre for this type of attacking style, not fancy but effective. Tien Mihn reminds me Chong Wei when under Li Mao, one phylosophy, attack, except Chong Wei has better racket skill than Tien Minh but TM certainly has more determination. Tien Mihn is the upcoming player to watch.
While NTM has the desire, passion and dedication for badminton, he lacks the resources in training, coaching and financial backing that Datuk has...also NTM is no more a spring chicken, time running out
I'm sure the SCORELINE explains it all park nearly beat lin dan but he once again manage to let lin dan sweat all the way through out the whole match Dan LIN [4][CHN] - [KOR] Sung Hwan PARK [6] 21-15 13-21 23-211:09
