IIRC you just have 1 VTZF LCW and not 2 or more, right? A training racket means to me, that you use something out of your comfort zone for special training aspects and play and train side by side with your go-to. You moded your go-to to a heavy beast, which it was before. So your training racket = go-to? So I don't see the training racket/go-to regime which sounds to me unusable for doubles if your opponent don't keep lifting.

I remove the tape if the games demand it :). Play with it normally and apply it for day after the other for another session. It's very cheap to purchase some and comes in a decent amount s it doesn't cost a lot to be that way. Mostly it's singles on weekdays and doubles on Saturday Sunday.

    Head weight ≠ overall weight

Ok, so what about this one from Lin Dan again? Colors look right and there seems to be no indentation from the half to the bottom part of the head:rolleyes: Screen Shot 2017-09-06 at 4.14.06 PM.png

Pretty sure that is still the repainted VTZF2.

Yonex corrected the color mismatch between the VTLD-F and Lin Dan's repainted VTZF2 a while back.

I dont understand why both LD and Yonex need to go all the troubles to repaint ZFii and pretend to use a "fake" VLDF while he can simply just use the real VLDF.

...because he prefers the ZF2 and/but also needs to maintain contractual obligations with yonex...

I like yonex brand and many of their stuffs quite a lot and have a great deal of respect for them. But I have quite an issue with how they somehow make a too dictatorial deal with some of the players and/or their contracts with the teams where the players belong. I know it's business, but sometimes this is at the players' inconvenience already if they are forced to use some of the company's stuffs that don't fit a particular player's convenience. Take the controversial case of Tai Tzu-Ying or in the case of Lin Dan and the VTLDF or even Lee Chong Wei and the repainted duora, this is already like lying on the consumers about the products that these stars are supposedly using.

Other brands are good too and don't seem to do these kind of marketing deceptions... We, customers, have the power to choose ;)

Not sure he's sponsored by anyone now he's retiring. But I think his province in China National Games is Yonex sponsored.
