Chinese duo in Saina Nehwal's path

    TNN, Aug 10, 2010, 01.17am IST

HYDERABAD: Though she refused to accept, the dice is loaded in favour of Saina Nehwal according to the BWF World Championships draw released on Monday.

The ace shuttler, who became the first Indian to reach the quarterfinals at the Worlds last year, not only received a first round bye but also will not run into a seeded player until the pre-quarterfinal where she meets Russian Ella Diehl in the bottom half of the draw.

IMO, Zaina may face the 2 best CHN WS players, one after and another. That is tough.

Always the same root cause of the problem, money.

There should be changes to the PBSI officials, but unlikely until the end of Asian Games if they fail to meet the target of 1 gold. It is highly possible that they will fail especially the way things going right now.

BWF must change Tournament registry rule.So many victim are caused the rule.
Badminton will be just amateur sport, never be professional sport if BWF keep tournament registry only by their National Badminton Association.

I believe the problem is not in PBSI right now, but in Pengda (Pengurus Daerah) Jakarta, with Icuk Sugiarto as the head. He just wants money.

i think they'll go to paris
someone doubts kido/setiawan will go to paris because of no prize money while MK/HD is not any longer in ina's camp, so they must purchase the accomodation by their own sponsor or their own money

-It can not be denied JAKARTA, Indonesia's best hope to win his men's doubles at the 2010 Badminton World Championships in Paris, next August 23 to 29 there on the shoulders of Markis Kido / Hendra Setiawan. But in the midst of an increasingly narrow this time they actually choose the option most likely to be absent from the world championships because of disappointment following the China Masters license does not approve by Pengda PBSI Jakarta.

The problem started when Markis / Hendra knowing that permit them to depart to China Masters rejected by Pengda PBSI Jakarta. Markis and Hendra own plans also fell in the mixed doubles with Lita Nurlita (Markis) and Anastasia Russkikh (Hendra) in the event permits itu.Seperti known for competing in any badminton tournaments in a row should be through the club, Pengcab, Pengda, then to the PBSI.

"So far no problems, so I was shocked when I heard this news," said Markis when questioned on Wednesday (11 / 8).

As an embodiment of a sense of disappointment, Markis / Hendra also plan to fail to appear at the World Championships in 2010. "Indeed I am still discussing with Hendra who currently resides in Japan, but most likely we'll be back," said 2008 Olympic champion in Beijing this. "Due to this news, our own focus fragmented and difficult to re-concentrate on the preparation of the World Championship," added Markis.

According Markis, they have no loss if absent from the prestigious tournament in the world's badminton. "We've become world champion, and there also appears no one in the bond contract. We're just disappointed why we are carrying the flag should be compounded in the licensing process, "explains Markis. "It is not impossible this disappointment will make us think playing in a place that is more easily licenses, in other Pengda or abroad," Markis added.

Base of this problem itself is actually most likely to occur because there is no communication between players and management intensive regions. Chairman of PBSI Pengda Icuk Sugiarto own Jakarta confirmed that what was done Pengda PBSI Jakarta was merely referring to the AD / ART PBSI.

"In Article 25 states that each player required to give statements regarding the value of the contract, prize money and so forth. So far they do not give the report because we think they do not comply with the rules of this organization, "said Indonesian pebulu countered this era of the 1980s. "I just run the regulation in accordance with AD / ART and myself hope Markis / Hendra did not withdraw from the World Championships because of this incident," added Icuk.

That's where the problems incidents this point. Markis claimed to have been no notices of what is to be as free of their obligations and Pengda pelatnas PBSI Jakarta itself assumes that such a thing should have been known to the players concerned.

PBSI own party hoped the problems between Markis / Hendra and Pengda PBSI Jakarta was completed quickly and thoroughly. "All involved in this issue are equally true love badminton so hopefully they can sit together with a head cold," said Vice Chairman of PBSI II I Gusti Made Oka.

According to Oka, he realized that the subject of money contracts and so it is a sensitive issue. "Talk about money, contract and other outside players were among the players with pelatnas Pengda PBSI where he heads. As we all know each Pengda also need funds for supplies of regeneration, as was the club where players take shelter, "Oka said.
