XD and MD looks to be very very competitive indeed.

This will be a nightmare Group of Death in XD that Towi/Butet will want to avoid:
Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl or Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun
Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying or Chris Adcock/Imogen Bankier
    Robert Mateusiak/Nadiezda Zieba or V. Diju/Jwala Gutta

The group that the INA pair will prefer:
    Sudjet Prapakamol/Saralee Thongthongkam
    Shintaro Ikeda/Reiko Shiota
    Toby Ng/Grace Gao

It should be interesting to see the draw when released.

I wouldn't be surprised to see china opt for their 4th singles woman instead.
And Japan might opt for an alternate pair too.
So it's not set in stone.

Will the draw be conducted with the current rankings or the rankings as of 23 July?

I think seeds are establish with the current ranking (3rd May). Spanish Pablo Abian is not seed since he is nº 17 (with 16 seeds in MS) :(
Carolina Marin is also clasified (nº 19), good year for Spain, hehe.

I suppose one the first player in each group make into the main draw, rigth?

    LYB is delaying his decision

    .
But it said that LXR will be accepted if there is any withdrawal from WYH, WX or WSX.

In other words, LYB is delaying his decision. ;););)

Indonesia Badminton Association (PBSI) prefer Firdasari than Febe. ;)

what i dont understand is why decline now with so many weeks before the deadline.
to decline now, if god's forbidden Firdasari got injured before the deadline INA has no option but to send YUSWANDARI, the next one down the line instead.

    what's the logic in it?

    .
:D:D:D Hahaha... Now you know.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Badminton, at this current time, is governed by National Associations. It's all up to National Associations to decide. Players have no say.:eek::eek:
