XD and MD looks to be very very competitive indeed. This will be a nightmare Group of Death in XD that Towi/Butet will want to avoid: Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl or Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying or Chris Adcock/Imogen Bankier Robert Mateusiak/Nadiezda Zieba or V. Diju/Jwala Gutta The group that the INA pair will prefer: Sudjet Prapakamol/Saralee Thongthongkam Shintaro Ikeda/Reiko Shiota Toby Ng/Grace Gao
. It should be interesting to see the draw when released. Anyway, the invited players are now all so glad that they have made it at this OG. .
31st May 2012 => Deadline for NOC's to confirm to BWF their selection of qualified players/pairs, see the qualification timeline -> http://bwfbadminton.org/file_download.aspx?id=41435&tid=1 23rd July 2012 => The live draw ceremony will take place in London.
I wouldn't be surprised to see china opt for their 4th singles woman instead. And Japan might opt for an alternate pair too. So it's not set in stone.
I think seeds are establish with the current ranking (3rd May). Spanish Pablo Abian is not seed since he is nº 17 (with 16 seeds in MS) Carolina Marin is also clasified (nº 19), good year for Spain, hehe. I suppose one the first player in each group make into the main draw, rigth?

son of a gun...look at that, LYB is able to perfectly calculate & squeeze Chen Jin in there in the top 4 MS ranking...
LYB is delaying his decision . But it said that LXR will be accepted if there is any withdrawal from WYH, WX or WSX. In other words, LYB is delaying his decision. .
interesting. Miyuki/Satoko managed to squeeze through to be JPN's WD2. i thought they will never make it.
what i dont understand is why decline now with so many weeks before the deadline. to decline now, if god's forbidden Firdasari got injured before the deadline INA has no option but to send YUSWANDARI, the next one down the line instead. what's the logic in it?
hmm, interesting. LYB submitted the names of the three Wangs on 30 May, just one day before the deadline.
What's the logic in it? . Hahaha... Now you know. Badminton, at this current time, is governed by National Associations. It's all up to National Associations to decide. Players have no say. .
LYB is delaying his decision; He hasn't made up his mind yet . Yes. In other words, LYB is delaying his decision; He hasn't made up his mind yet. .
