Fu/Cai were playing down the other end so I did not see that, but I did notice CY leaving the arena very quickly and ignoring all of the fans with FHF kind of trailing behind looking bemused.

Also after the QF yesterday Taufik smashed his racquet off the ground because he was so incensed by the line-call at 21-20. INA coaches were angry about it too but I didn't see if it was in or out. Either way it's not nice to have a match hinge on a call like that...

Ya, that was a bad one, and kinda left a bitter taste to PG's win. You could see TH still narked during the handshakes.

    hmmm..

good gracious, surprised by how long LYB "lectured" him right there and then on the spot. But then, it's also not surprising to see LYB berate BCL (and his soldiers). If i recall, LYB almost did the same to LD right after the 2006 Asian Games MS Final vs. Taufik. If i recall, LYB almost made LD cry during the exchange as i saw LD tried to rebutt back but before he could speak LYB would already be looking at him as if trying to say "What are you gonna say to me??"..:(

Come to think of it, i wonder if LYB did that to BCL because he regretted not using the "match fixing" approach (in the LD vs. BCL match). And thought to himself afterward: What if i let BCL or LD win easily in the QF? Either one would have enough energy to play against Tago (not that energy was the main factor)? Now i have no chance to lift the MS title.

Btw, any reviews of the Semifinals matches??..did you watch the SF Rd.?..
    *still awaiting jamesd20's reviews..

That was not the first time Fu/Cai showed their emotion. Last time, either Fu or Cai (I forget who) also broke his racket in anger immediately after losing to Choong/Lee in the WC 2007.

Hmm ZN and LYB seem to be laughing ruefully after TR wins.

It was Cai Yun, in plain view of the spectators after the Malaysians smashed home their winning point. Very distressing, of course, when you go down while leading 19-16 in the rubber.

Actually, I just watched Fu/Cai vs the Korean pair. During it Cai also showed his emotion by hitting the net violently using this racket after missing a (not very easy) net kill.

I guess Cai has been under big pressure.

Source from Chinese media. Cai Yun received a red card from the empire after the match. While Haifeng was waving at their fans to express thank you on the court, Yun was on sideline kicking at his bag and his rackets and towel were flying out from his bag towards the audience seat. He then went for his rackets to pick them up, turned around to shake the hands of empire. Immediately after the empire took out the red card from his pocket. That might explain why Yun left the arean quickly and ignored all the fans.

Wow, didn't know the red card still got 'power' even after the match:D

Btw, as a professional, cai yun should know how to control his temper though. He might hurt some of the audience near the court though. With his rackets.

What does the red card do? Does it just serve as a warning? Sorry but I have never seen or heard cases of players getting the red card. Do they get suspended or something?
