if u're a pro,or someone that's really good or knows much about the badminton rackets, then u can really tell which one is good.Otherwise,it'll just feel like some ordinary rackets.Yes,i agree with ppl here..using the fake one is just more suitable for beginner,as it's more flex n head light n things..while using the real one will be much harder to play. That's why some rackets write it down carefully on "suitable for amateur,or professional".Even if u're an intermediate,u can't feel those pro's rackets as pros feel them,or use them. Some ppl,if they have money, they can buy expensive rackets, pro rackets..but still, they cant feel the goodness of it.Just for showoffs. No offense though..everyone has their own choice for what's their dream rackets are. Anyway..it's true that everyone got their own preferred racket to play with.Maybe someone out there still prefer old steel racket than nowadays carbon graphite.Who knows?Hehe..
All badminton racquets are made and sold to the masses-you and me. The pros also use the same racquets but they get them free. The manufacturer would have failed if racquet A is only good for the pros but not the masses. A lemon is a lemon. The only difference is that a pro can probably squeeze a little more juice from a lemon than a non-pro. But it is still a lemon.
when someone wanna modify a higher end product into something equivalent that worth less or u can buy it for less, his advice isn't worth listening to.
Well 2hrs meaning tough training. Heavy smashes and all. Anyway i have an mp-30 and it doesnt work as well as the fake.
My personal opinion is that the NS9000 series was a let-down. This may offend some owners of the NS9000. But I would be interested to hear honest and frank opinions from owners.
....so what? I said it was hard-to-hate, because generally the S is accepted a good allrounded, slightly flexy racket. I said generally a lot of people like it, I never said éveryone has to likes it...that'd be 'impossible-to-hate' I'd say the MP88 is hard-to-hate as well..it's a very comfortable racket...(find other rackets better, btu that's a different story) One of the local pro's here hates the at700..so there!
Did Eepak and others mention it in other threads? I very vaguely remember adding or subtracting material in the handle.
yesi beleive eepak added ballast or lead weight into one of E -10000 to make it head lighter and more heavy and the owner said it's been upgraded and i beleive the owner said it's better then before
I got a question can you add lead tape on badminton racquets lol?? I know you can do that for tennis racquet.
I had a real good look at the NS9000 and I believe its basic design is flawed. There is more in designing a racquet than using the highest modulus materials, which is good only for face stability for off center hits. The more important requirement is to design a racquet with materials and their placement that will give it punch with the least energy expanded. I will not go into details on this but all I can reveal is that it involves two separate dimensions that must be 'looked' at differently. This the NS9000 is found wanting. I have not been able to improve on my friend's NS9000S nor another friend's NS9000X, despite my best efforts. Any improvement was just too marginal to be considered acceptable. BTW, the friend who has the NS9000X jp is the CEO of Hong Kong's Science Park who goes round the world to meet with others to discuss/promote nano technology, amongst other technologies.
There is more to it than what you say, otherwise why can't you simply put on another overgrip to do the same thing?
LOL, u got superman's x-ray vision, to see into how yonex place the nanotubes and carbon fibers?? LOL LOL, it's your ceo friend's fault. He oversold the nano technology to yonex and got backfired LOL
Cooler, do you have an NS9000 S or X? If yes, can you give us your honest opinion about your racquet?
I have the X and it plays great at 30 lbs X 33 lbs . What's your CEO friend's beef with the NS-9K? Anything specific or the usual foggy sud? My earlier review: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29583&page=58&highlight=NS-9000
