All the Malaysian lost in 3sets including Hafiz and Saiful except the WD lost quite badly to Sin pair (based on the score)

Jo Novita/Greysia Polii lost narrowly to Gao Ling/Huang Sui 23-25, 22-24  It was a good result...and once again they reached the quarter-final of a 4* event. I think they will be sent to the WC and hopefully be among one of the seeds.

Fransisca Ratnasari had done well to push Wang Chen to 3 sets yesterday.

As for the other young pairs, Yoga Ugikasah/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki lost to Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun and Mohd Rizal/Greysia Polii lost to the newly formed Zheng Bo/Yu Yang in Round 1/16. Meiliana Jauhari/Purwati also lost to Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen. These were all expected losses.

The non-Pelatnas pair of Rian Sukmawan/Eng Hian lost to Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah in 3 sets.

Since there are no Indo pairs in the semi-finals, I think I will save myself a trip to Macau and rest at home as I have just come back from an exhausting trip to Xi'an.

Kind of expected alr. Rexy had said even before this tournament that LWW does well during their training and is in good form but CTF loses his focus easily(Just like during the thomas cup where LWW played better although he was the one making a comeback after his injury and missed a lot of tournaments). Just hope that CTF will find his form again during the world championship.

Chen Yu is 25 or 26 I think now. Not sure on sariul. He looks older but think he may be similar.
