Guys, where are you? Usually there always somebody updated the badminton event scores and made prediction. Oh well, I will try to made the QF prediction for tomorrow.

    PREDICTION:

    QUARTER FINAL MACAU OPEN 2006

    MEN SINGLES

So far, not a single suprises here. All the seven seeded players breeze through QF except Ng Weio who lost to Ayob from Malaysia.

Taufik Hidayat lost twice in a row against Lee Hyun Il in R 16. Hoping PBSI don’t make any lame excuses for his lost or his dedicated fans. Like I predict earlier, he had too much personal problem right now. So no Taufik in QF tomorrow.

Even without Taufik, so much mouth watering matches :

Lee Chong Wei VS Bao Cun Lai (MATCH OF THE ROUND) : LCW had an edge to win the tie. 3 sets for LCW.

Chen Hong VS Ayob SA : I am still sure that Chen Hong will win despite his not so good performance in new scoring system. Chen Hong in 3 sets. CH had the easiest draw trough SF in this tournament.

Chen Jin VS Lee Hyun Il : Another tight matches. CJ won in 3 sets.

Lin Dan VS Hashim M Hafiz : LD will win in 2 sets.

    WOMEN SINGLES

The only surprising result was Wang Lin lost to Yip Pui Yin in 3 sets. Farnsisca from Indonesia made a good effort lost to Wang Chen in 3 sets. :D

Zhang Ning VS Judith M : Seems like Judith love to play with the new scoring system. But ZN will win in 2 sets.

Wang Chen VS Lu Lan : A tight match. WC had to play 3 sets in two matches in a row. So Lu Lan will win in another 3 thrilling sets.

Zhu Lin VS Yao Jie (MATCH OF THE ROUND) : After a disappointing result with new scoring system, look like Yao Jie now seems to play her usual self. But I am rooting Zhu Lin. She will win in 3 sets.

Yip Pui Yin VS Li Li : Li Li will advance to the SF.

    MEN DOUBLES:

MD only play for R 16: So I will only pick top matches.

The only suprises so far was how tamely Tony Gunawan/ Halim H lost to Lee Young Dae/Jung Jae Sung 2 sets :21-13, 21-11

Hendri / Hendra (Sin) VS Guo ZD VS Zheng Bo : The Singapore pair play really well in Singapore Open few weeks ago. Can they play that level consistenly? This is their first test. 50:50

Rian/Eng Hian VS Choong TF/Lee WW (MATCH OF THE ROUND) : The Malaysian pair will win in 3 sets.

    WOMEN DOUBLES

Same as MD, WD will play R 16. So far, not a surprise happened here.

Jo Novita/ Polii VS Hwang Yu Mi, Kim M J : Indonesia pair will win.

Chien YC/ Cheng WS VS Lena/Kamilla : CYC/CWS will win in 2 hard fought sets.

Jiang YM/ Li YJ VS Wong PT/ Chin EH (MATCH OF THE ROUND) : Too early fight. A 50:50 fight.

    MIXED DOUBLES:

MX will play R 16. So far not a single suprises.

Zheng Bo/ Yu Yang VS Rizal/Polii: So far Rizal/Polii always had a nice draw with their opponent withdrawing. I hope they can won tomorrow. But I prdict they will lost in 3 sets.

Saputra /Li VS Tsai CH/ Cheng WH : (MATCH OF THE ROUND) : Another too early fight. The Singapore will win in 3 sets.

I hope Yao Jie could make it through SF. :p
If she could play like she did against ZN in MVP, she has a big chance.

Judith is a very good player too. Saw her performance in uber cup, XXF was struggling the whole match to beat her....
Will tat be a sign she will be the next Carmilla Martin whom at her time had cast much fear in her chinese opponents???:rolleyes::rolleyes:
