I always bring 3 bananas with me when playing badminton at the club during lunch time. Then, I skip lunch entirely.

Amazing that Saina just keep going and going. She has participated in the same number of tournaments as Srikanth and Xue Song and she is still doing ok.

Real sad about Tago once again. He's always been coming 2nd best in finals (what is it...something like 7 runner ups, never winning once), and it's finally taken its toll. I doubt we'll ever see Tago back to his best.

Who is CHEUNG Ngan Yi? HK WS player by surprise defeated Sung Ji Hyun. She is going to face Carolina Marin.

Saina has to defeat 3 CHN players back to back to reach the final.
She won one vs. Yao Xue. Up next is Sun Yun then it is either LXR/WYH in the semifinal.

ok... 3 CHN WD pairs, 1 INA, 1 MAS and 1 GER remain. If each ROW pair wins today, no more CHN WD represented after Qtr final is over today. ..... Sweet!!!

Let's just win baby: Vivian/Khe Wei Woon, Greysia/Maheswari and Isabel/Birgit.

is it possible that CHN won't be represented in WD in the final of SSP?

if Angga/Ricky wins today vs. Bomo and Hendra/Ahsan vs. the tough Hashimoto/Hirata, INA would secure 1 representative in the final.

At the top draw, LYD/YYS or Lee Sheng Mu/Tsai Chai Sin are waiting -- I am pretty sure they would win today's match vs. the remaining CHN MD... :)

Nozomi has a good chance of winning. She's basically the female version of LCW, minus the power smash.

I would have to go for Nozomi. Anyone playing her has to be on the top of their game to stand a chance of winning.

Yeah Nozomi has a good chance of winning, but i expect WSX to be on her best after all the losses she accumulated, plus there's the sudirman cup selection. I'm looking forward to this match and i'll be disappointed if she loses.

I am not sure of the final. I think your MAS baby will find it tough against their CHN opponent today.

Their shots weren't good enough against the INA pair yesterday and I would say they were lucky to pull through. Vivian's (the more powerful of the pair) smashes weren't strong enough and WKW, who likes to rush to the front was not putting away the shuttle. She just blocked or lift back. It would be
    punished by better pairs.

    Hope they can progress.

I thought those interesting matches are always between CHN and KOR.
Maybe new pairs are taking over.
