With second seed, Chinese new sensations Zheng SW/Chen QC have withdrawn, they should be wary to Hong Kong combinations Lee CH/Chau HW and Zhang N/Li YH who may deny them into finale. On bottom-half of draw, third seed Tan KM/Lai PJ and TPE Masters champion Tang CM/Tse YS who displayed impressive performance last week are favoured to go further in this tournament.
