The fight between Anders Boesen and Park Tae Sang for the third national spot in the Olympics is very close. It will go down the wire at the continental championships which of course will favour Boesen unless Park can maintain his form.

Of course, both can qualify if they both do well and others do badly.

Zhou Mi had a lot of trouble beating Japanese Eriko Hirose 11-5 9-11 11-8!!!

Is the gap between the Chinese WS and the rest of the world narrowing???
(this would be good for the interest of the game anyway)

During Asian junior champs last year 1/2 Japanese girls singles players were very impressive, I think Hirose was one, maybe entered semis or sth.Boys too.

I think Gu Jia Ming is showing results in Japan.

No, look at some of my other predictions. Your example, I think Gade is the best player when he plays his best, and then i think even Lin Dan would be Struggeling against him. I havent got any problem with you disagreeng with me.

    Yes,
as I said in another thread, Japan has many very good juniors and they might become a badminton "powerhouse" quite soon if they carry on this way...

Gade is a fantastic player, his comeback after injury is very surprising.
But I think it is very difficult for him to beat Lin Dan.
Gade has changed his style, very different if you look his style in OG 2000 in Sydney.
In Sydney, he played very fast and aggressive. He smashed every high shuttle so sharp and precisition. Also his drop was perfect and sharp.
I didn't see his Sydney's style in SO, AE and KO.
Against Lin Dan who play explosive and aggressive. Gade has to work very hard. But it doesn't mean that he can't make it.
