I saw that too, + can see him limping after winning the match with PG, PG asking him about it.

But there were no highlights during French Open, so we dont know if it was as bad as during FO. We shall see during the match today, how he plays.
Going by past records, he should get past KJ.
But to win against in form LD, percentage is low, unless LD's injury also act up.

that's what i am thinking too abedeng. the injury could just be that bad to prevent him playing to his best ability. :(

For LCW, reaching the final is already a big success. He shouldn't worry about how to beat LD at the current stage. First thing first: make sure he will not be out early like 06WC and 07WC.

Hiyaaa, I was refering to LD's 1st round lost to Park in China Open. One of the reasons given was some of injury he sustained. But going by LD's form, his injury recovered by time he reached HK

oh, I remember now, his foot got naughty and injured. So looks like LCW's the only MS who can win ,carrying an injury.

Kenneth Jonassen has been practicing a rather bizarre service action
Anyway, injury or no injury, LCW has begun his soup-making in earnest :D
    Game 1 over now :p

My prediction is LCW will finish the HKO with a final bang. He is running hot whereas LD looks like he has already completed his year and looking forward to his holidays.

even the spectators couldn't stand them and had been laughing almost through out the match whenever he served............:D:D:D:D

Jonassen serving, then pause in the middle of the serve, "should i serve low or high?? let me think.............................................................................................................................................."

(the audience started to laugh) i better serve now, it's getting bad on me. (high flick serve and it was out) :D:D:D:D:D:D

U being slightly sarcastic like me ?;) China player injury seem to miraculously heal as it suits them (Li De Quan, dont get angry). LCW we know his injury for real, why would he bandage his knee for so long.

Anyway, can see after the SF match with KJ, LCW limp little bit. Should be interesting match tomm, hope LCW will play his best but not aggravate his injury.

You're so right with what's on his mind,it's really funny. He gave LCW a 3 point discount with his bad long serve. But he played well today and it's good to see his progress against LCW.
He really needs to change his serve and perfect it once and for all.The serve bothers him too much.Short serve is not hot;long serve go long 50% of the time. The moment he fixes his serve, mentally his play may improve 10%. I hope he gets into the top 4 for OG08 because he can do it.

The audiences were kinda cruel to laugh at him when he changed one of the serve to back hand serve cos the fore hand serves didn't seem to be working for him......................have faith, Kenneth !!!...........:D:D:D

At some point, i thought he was trying to make the opponent move before his actually serves, you know, to get a fault from the umpire. If it was me, i've gotten few faults. he was pausing there for 1.5 to 2 seconds max at some serves.:D:D:D

despite all this, he played well. i know why Hashim Bro got 21-5 already.;)
I'm guessing that his service helped him a lot.............:D:D:D

With that leg pain, LCW has reached three super series finals in a row, one of which he won. Plus a semifinal in Denmark. In terms of technical ability and tactical understanding, he has improved, overcoming his physical limitations with better in game tactics.

But Malaysia should worry about being overly dependent on LCW, the rest of the MS squad is lagging too far behind to lend credible support. Could you really blame him for blowing up at the World Championships?

And the same thing is happening to Koo/Tan, under tremendous pressure 'cos they are practically the only ones capable of lifting MD titles ......
