I hope LeeCW can win this year WC.
Can he do it? His coach choose to stay behind to coach LeeCW.
I hope he can win it. Or at least lost to LD in SF and not earlier than that
like in past WC. A good fight against LD before bowing out is the least I expect.

Your expectations are the same as all the other Malaysians - Reaching the SF at a minimum. That is what I expect too. But we should not be too harsh on him if he loses, because we all know that he tries his best all the time.

Yes, sometimes I feel pity on him too, after trying so hard still unable to take this WC because of one/two person......sigh!

But I always supporting LCW for all his efforts to add some more majors in his collection, just pray for his success this time ......

If he doesnt nail the elusive WC and/or OG, he will always be remembered as "second best" to SuperDan...

    Yes..... good encouragement, Danielboy.
Hopefully LCW beat LD and win the WC. No point beating LD and then losing in the final.
If he achieves it, you may start filming Lee Chong Wei 1.

even if LCW beats LD at the WC, it doesn't mean he is the best! He got to beat LD consistently like how LD is beating him now in order to be the best;)

LD is already the best badminton MS player of the decade, LCW just can try very hard to beat him as many time as he could but he wont take away the 'best' tag from LD........at least thats what i think !!

..you mean, say, if LCW beats LD in their next 9 meetings, LD is still considered the best??..wouldn't their H-2-H record be 15-14 in favor of DLCW by then??..

Its difficult to judge who is the best at times. Unless both participated in every ss. ;) Too bad, its not going to happen. So fair or unfair is a matter of personal opinion. ;) For the moment, we can only see who will play more tournaments and last longer till retirement. Given china's competitive players growing, it won't be easy for LD to stay that long. ;)

The players' rankings can only be read as the BWF Rankings

    .
That is the problem that BWF is facing.:eek::eek:

BWF would like to rank their players (correctly) according to their players' successes at tournaments.

But when some players elect to participate in only some selected BWF tournaments, then the players' rankings can only be read as THE BWF Rankings.
