Hi guys, Lin Dan has expressed his sincere apology through his friend & he will ensure he won't make the similiar mistake again when he returns to Malaysia next year. http://www.davidliu.cn/article.asp?id=32 Shall we move on Cheers!
As an active member of this forum, I am glad he has come to his senses. It is certainly not worth the commotion he made. Owning up to this bad behaviour saves us a lot of further bashing. For those questioning the bashing being unfair, you now witness the man confessing his error. I am now willing to drop further comments. I am sure the other people would too to show we are not about rubbishing the man unnecessarily.
What he own up to has nothing to do with your bashing or comments. If he realized that he did something wrong, he should come up to his senses and learn from it and work on it. Who cares about whether you are willing to drop your comments or not?
Hahaha no need. I chatted with Lindan a day after his lost. From our conversation... he indeed lost control of his emotion and don't know what to do. Anyway he sounded apologetic about his actions.
You can always challenge me to satay-eating contest to settle our differences when you drop by Singapore like you mentioned a while ago?
He already ate something before we went for dinner that evening during SO2006. If not, maybe 30 sticks just barely enough for Ants alone.
I think 20 sticks is good enough. 30 is too much. Anyway out of topic. Lin Dan learned his lesson. I'm sure he will keep this in mind to not over react. He said that this was his first time to react like that and he felt guilty about it.
Yes that's true. i agreed with luyi80. i've been supporting chinese players too. But Lin dan case i dont think he really means it whether the article above is real or fake. lin dan's mood just bad on that day. We youngsters usually lose patience during young age and the audience most of them are sarawakien malaysian supporters. Probably lin dan lose because he couldnt control his emotions because of the sound they made that no difference from those coming out from jungles. What i seen from the video was lindan did wanna shake LCW's hand at first but LCW's head was bowed down while his coach Li Mao approached him. Did you guys noticed it? After that Lin dan feel he does not acknowledged LCW's victory, so he didnt shake hands with him. He just too upset i guess. We still going to support Lin dan aren't we??? And we hope LCW will make it this time for another Chinese taipei open 2006. Malaysia boleh! I've heard few remarks in the forum that chinese players does not want to sign their audience autograph. There's one case when a malaysian chinese approached to one of the chinese players with her mandarin for autograph. Usually even hongkong, taiwan, china some people thought of malaysian chinese do not speak their mother tonque and it's true unless they come here and really chat with the malaysian chinese here!.
