Lakshya Sen is slated to play 5 tournaments consecutively for 1 month 1 week. Canada Open super 500- going on US Open super 300 next week Korea Open super 500 Japan Open super 750 Australia Open super 500 He has to win Canada Open and US Open at any cost or at least reach finals coz Asian leg draw is tough for him. I think he’ll miss Aus Open coz of fatigue. Let’s see. All the best to him. Japan Open first round Lakshya vs Priyanshu. Unlucky but we can see how our best former juniors play against each other.
Congratulations Lakshya for winning Canada Open super 500. Big wins against Kunlavut in first round and Li Shifeng in final. Big coz he’s been out of form lately. And wins against them will be a good boost for his confidence especially with tougher draws in future tournaments and Olympic ranking points on line.
Lakshya about his win last night. And he is playing the US open https://revsportz.in/this-win-gives-me-a-lot-of-confidence-going-forward-lakshya-sen-exclusive/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hate the hairstyle. He's still amongst the cute ones though Yes seems to have bulked up a tad aswell. The smashes seem to have a little more sting but let's wait to see them in action against someone who has a better defence than LSF, Kodai perhaps. Great decision to play here (PVS too) very important ranking points, need them desperately to get better draws in WC, has AG seedings fixed? Don't think so cause China only recently announced their teams
I’m late in posting this article here. So here it goes Link: https://m.timesofindia.com/sports/b...-greatest-comebacks/articleshow/101635375.cms Lakshya Sen hails Canada Open win as one of 'greatest comeback’
Oh yes completely forgot about it. Why isn't KS playing the NA leg? He needs it more than anyone else
I believe he is undergoing the rebooting process under the new Indonesian coach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Two consecutive nights, I was awake till 3-3:30 and then fizzled out. Couldn’t hold myself up for Lakshya match. Couldn’t sleep well either. Fortunately, I woke up just at the end of the match and saw him lose in 3 games. Will try to check the recording. How did he play ? Anything positives or negatives ?
Just watched the whole recording. Have to give it to Li Shifeng. Awesome match. Both of them in long tiring attacking rallies. Both of them were successfully hitting the lines. It’s not easy to hit those shots with precision that too many times. Lakshya played really well but it was all Li Shifeng who was better throughout. No worries, Lakshya. You’ll come back stronger. Good luck for Korea, Japan and Australia.
Just watched highlights of today’s match against Watanabe. Lakshya won first game. In second game he was trailing 6-14. Have to give it to him he took the game to 18-19 and then won 3 consecutive points to win the match in two. Epic comeback. This is something I really appreciate. Giving it all even when odds are against you. Good luck bro for tomorrow against Christie.
He retired. Anyone knows what happened ? Saw the match. From the start, his movement and everything felt like he carried injury from the start.
Could be fatigue or muscle strain. Didnt like look a major injury to me at least from the video. Hope nothing serious. Sent from my CPH2447 using Tapatalk
Felt like it was just a planned cameo to avoid fine. If he carried an injury, I don’t think he would have stepped on the court. If injury free, I believe it is the right decision to skip this one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I thought it was a niggle for him. Have to wait for his insta post. As you said, it might be planned to avoid a fine which would be a nice decision by him.
