Much of the task will be for KKK not to fall back on the ways that pulled them down. Unfortunately bad habits die hard, and will have to see how real his determination for OG gold is. Although it seems TBH is quite willing to give it a shot, so there is still some optimism for the partner to straighten up. But, it will be exciting to watch them on their quest! ... until he runs out of steam ...
KKK/TBH both are playing together again in the upcoming Srilanka International Challenge 2015. Good news for Malaysians .!!

Lin Woon Fui still playing... interesting saw his name in the draw in qualification for MD in australian open. Interesting... it's like the resurrection of an ancient dinosaur. He might still have the goods, but the style of play in badminton MD has changed considerably... meanwhile I don't think KKK/TBH may get past round 2 and into quarters... but you'll never know what they've been upto training with Lee Wan Wah...
Even with the best MD coaches, best nutritionists, best goodlooking cheerleaders, KKK/TBH best days are long over. If they cannot perform when still younger at BAM, really think they can do it now??? They are in it for the $1M sponsor money that someone who does not know how to spend the money but instead choose to invest in them, lucky them. Forget about Rio, Aussie SS...they may not even win the Sri lanka Open, hahaha!!!
^ And if they do by chance happen to win Sri Lanka , you'll eat your hat? Actually, if they don't win Sri Lanka, then that's manyak malu malu, lah...
If they happen to win SL, then at least they get part of their airfare covered. What is the prize money, in Sri Lankan currency? Is the win enough to pay for 1-way ticket, and the sponsor pay for the return fare....hahaha!!!
Actually, malu-malu is our perception, you gonna have elephant skin these days of playing pro. These chaps have no training for a second career, they invested their lives in baddy. Money talks, money counts...mala-malu who cares??? hahaha...
RM 1mil per person is a lot of money whichever way you look at it. that should pay for their airfare and hotel for a year's worth of tournaments and probably have quite a bit leftover for a nice hairstylist for KKK. incredible that they managed to find someone who still believe in them. it is up to them now to work their best and spend their money in the wisest way. however, is going to an International Challenge going to give them the best olympics points for the money they are spending? it would be rather embarrassing if they lose. i hope the sponsorship has no contingencies attached.
Probably using Sri Lanka challenge to build up their confidence. Real test will be Australia open next wk. Should be meeting Lee/Tsai in Round 2 elimination.
Lee\Tsai gonna wallop them so hard that they wish they stay in Sri Lanka and restrict to playing only IC tournaments LOL. Perhaps, not winning anything for such a long time that should they win SL Cup, at least they can call themselves champions LOL! I also read Rashid is coaching 4 have-beens (Arif, TCS, Hafix) and lay out plan for them towards qualifying for Rio. RS with WR1 LCW cannot achieve the ultimate goal, this Rio goal thingie is a joke, right? Then I paused and think, it is money talk...another chap with oodles of cash to give away, RS with no future in BAM and lucky to cash in, lucky him. I would too. MAS baddy has dropped to such a low level, that it is not even funny anymore. It is the Chin Chai, RS, Nasmi who over these years have mismanaged the program that Morten has to start from the bottom up. No wonder Park said thanks, but no thanks, safer to stay with the Japanese. Heard also LKW-Hoon also got $1M sponsor. If rich chap really wants to play good samaritan and contribute to MAS baddy, why not invest in young blood. Collectively, these sponsor money may entice many kids to take up the sport seriously. Just a thought.
can't wait to see them perform in AUS open... see whether they going to play different styles or just same old tactic...
